Welcome to the DFS Watch List for NFL Week 6!

We made it through the Weeks 4 and 5 chaos and here wer are, primed and ready to go for Week 6. Some chaos still looms, but there is no Thursday night game and even with four teams on a bye, we still have an 11-game slate. Keep in mind, there are only two late games this Sunday, so we're going to want a piece of them for some late-game hammer. Of course, one game is the Jets/Dolphins, so grab yourself a spitoon maybe so you have something to throw up in.

So what did last week's Playbook deliver? As always, we like to check in to ensure we remain on the right path.

Scoring The Playbook Week 5

Every week this season the Playbook has delivered winning analysis.  We know it is hard to pick exactly the right players but they are always in there.  Over five weeks, the lowest score for a lineup that is in the Playbook & Dart Board is this week’s 215.7 DraftKing points.

Here are the highlights:

  • Quarterbacks averaged more than 22 points for the fifth straight week
  • 71% of wide receivers delivered 2X Value with 50% delivering 3X value
  • The average for the Playbook including defenses was 2.63 Value
  • The Dart Board had three bullseyes out of only five selections
  • The highest score you could make with the Playbook & Dart Board was 215.7 DraftKing point

If you built your lineups using just the Playbook and the Dart Board, this is what could have been:

Pos.PlayerPricePoints
QBDeshaun Watson $6,90029.9
RBMike Davis $6,40029.9
RBJosh Jacobs $6,30022.5
WRCeeDee Lamb$6,00023.4
WRJamison Crowder $5,80028.6
WRDarius Slay ton$4,80023.9
TETravis Kelce $6,40027.8
FLEXDevonta Freeman $4,60016.7
D/STCleveland Browns$2,70013.0

 Total:$49,900215.7

Now, obviously, hindsight is 20-20 and hitting the nuts off the Playbook and Dart Board is still tough to do given the number of possible permutations, but what it shows is that the work is being done to give ytou the best possible chances to win. And it's more than just going to the Lineup Generator, clicking Playbook & Dart Board Only and generating lineups. You have to study the match-ups, read the content and build around your favorites after the research is done. We whittle down the player pool for you, but you still need to prefect your lineup construction methods and select the right contests.

If you are one of our new subscribers, welcome! Love seeing the #FAmily grow. As just and FYI -- This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

With that all being said, it's time to check in and see which players we are looking at for DFS this week.

PLAYERS ADDED (10/16):

Deshaun Watson , QB HOU, Ben Roethlisberger , QB PIT, Aaron Jones , RB GB, Alexander Mattison, RB MIN, Allen Robinson , WR CHI, Jamison Crowder , WR NYJ, Tee Higgins, WR CIN, Chase Claypool, WR PIT, Trey Burton , TE IND

PLAYERS REMOVED (10/16):

Curtis Samuel , WR CAR -- He is being listed as questionable and even though he was able to take part in practice all week, Patners HC Matt Rhule said it would depend on how he [Samuel] feels after warm-ups. We have plenty of other pay-downs we can look at without waiting on him.
