Welcome to the DFS Optimal Lineups for NFL Week 12!

We may need to do a little maneuvering and as I am building lineupos, I may need to use a player or two who might not be in the Playbook. This is probably more for GPP tournaments, though I'm looking at paying down at defense in cash, than anything else, but I just want to give you a heads up so no one freaks out. For example, to go opposite a Colts stack, I am going to need to get a piece of the Dolphins, expecting either some push-back from the opposition or the expectation of garbage-time production. Hence, an inclusion of Kenny Stills .

We also have a few situations to watch as we got some interesting yet aggravating news. First off, Melvin Gordon is still considered a game-time decision. A report this morning said that he would play, but if he's banged up, I don't know if I want to use him in my cash game lineups. How much work will he get? How much goes to Austin Ekeler ? I think there's enough value at the position to fade him, but we'll have to keep an eye on the Ownership Forecaster.

Keep a watchful eye on San Francisco, too. I was pretty gung ho about a SF stack for GPP tournaments, but with word that Marquise Goodwin is out due to personal reasons, I am losing steam. Od course, I may still be inclined to use the Niners as a stack just to go against the grain as everyone is likely to have a Bucs stack in-play.

As for the overall lineups, I am likely to pay down at RB and get as much value as possible and pay up at WR to get guaranteed targets and, hopefully, production. Here's a look at a few example I built usin gthe Playbook and the rest of the tools provided here at Fantasy Alarm.
