What's going on, #FAmily!!

Are you ready for Week 1 of the NFL season?

By now, you will have read everything from the Watch List to the WR/CB Match-ups to the DFS Coaches and, fianlly, the Playbook. You have, hopefully, also played around with our Lineup Generator and have looked at the projections for this week, keeing yourself well-equipped to start building your lineups. How do they look? Who are you paying up for? Where is the best place to pay down?

If you're just dipping your toe into the DFS pool, please remember to play smart. Giant GPP tournaments like the the $4M NFL Sunday Million on FanDuel or the $5M Roman Fantasy Football on Draft Kings are lottery tickets. You're playing against a riddiculously large field and numerous sharks are swimming around with 150 lineups each. That's not the way to start. You need to hang out in the cash games -- the 50/50s and the Double-Ups. Start small and get a feel for how you want to construct your lineups. Once you've mastered the smaller contests, then you can take a stab at some single-entry GPP tournaments. We have 17 weeks together, so don't blow it all here in Week 1.

For me, this week, I feel like paying down at the running back position is something you should really take a look at. Yes, there are guys like Kareem Hunt and Melvin Gordon , but with the prices of guys like Alex Collins , Derrick Henry and even Peyton Barber , you should be able to put some bargain backs in there and free up some of your budget for wide receivers, the position I seem to want to pay up for most. Michael Thomas and A.J. Green are definite favorites of mine this week, as are Keenan Allen and, if playing contests that include Monday night, Davante Adams . As for quarterback and tight end, it's a back-and-forth for me. Some lineups I want to use high-end quarterbacks and in other lineups I want to Gronk. You just have to get a feel for what makes you most comfortable.

The lineups below are considered examples of cash game and tournament lineups. They are not meant for you to be lazy and simply take as your own. They are there to use as a comparison for your own and are built from only players listed in the Playbook. No secrets and no hidden gems. Maybe there's a particular player you HAVE TO get into your lineup. If that's the case, then do it. These are merely sounding boards. That's why we include different pivots you can make at various positions.

If you have questions, ask them. We have a live start/sit chat that opens at 11am ET and takes you straight through to lineup lock. You can also catch me and Brandon marianne-Lee on the Fantasy Alarm Livestream from 11am-12pm as well. Get as much info as you can, build your lineups and play smart.

You got this, #FANation! Let's crush this week!
