Welcome to the DFS Watch List for NFL Week 5!

It was another solid week from the Watch List and Playbook, though obviously some highs and lows. I wasn't prepared to fully invest in Joe Mixon and lost out on his big day, but I was all-in on Odell Beckham which proved to be a fantastic move. The Seahawks did us dirty, given their price tags, but we hit on some really nice salary-saving darts like Scott Miller and Jalen Guyton. Here's a look at what the Playbook ultimately delivered in Week 4:

Wide Receivers again dominated the Playbook with 11 of 15 delivering 2X+ Value and Odell Beckham , CeeDee Lamb and DeVante Parker were your recipe for victory.

Here are some other highlights:

  • The average Value for the players in the Playbook was 2.6X
  • Quarterbacks averaged a whopping 3.5X Value
  • The top two tight ends on the main slate were in the Playbook: Mark Andrews & Darren Waller
  • The Dart Board had Ronald Jones & Scott Miller both with 4X+ Value
  • The highest score from the Playbook and Dart Board players was 222.3 points

If you built your lineups using just the Playbook and the Dart Board, this is what could have been:

Pos. Player Price Points
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick $5,400 26.3
RB Dalvin Cook $7,600 31.6
RB Ronald Jones $4,700 21.8
WR Odell Beckham $5,800 38.4
WR DeVante Parker $5,400 25.2
WR CeeDee Lamb $5,400 25.2
TE Mark Andrews $6,000 20.7
FLEX Scott Miller $4,100 19.3
D/ST Los Angeles Rams $3,900 11.0
  Total: $48,600 219.5

Now, obviously, hindsight is 20-20 and hitting the nuts off the Playbook and Dart Board is still tough to do given the number of possible permutations, but what it shows is that the work is being done to give ytou the best possible chances to win. And it's more than just going to the Lineup Generator, clicking Playbook & Dart Board Only and generating lineups. You have to study the match-ups, read the content and build around your favorites after the research is done. We whittle down the player pool for you, but you still need to prefect your lineup construction methods and select the right contests.

If you are one of our new subscribers, welcome! Love seeing the #FAmily grow. As just and FYI -- This piece will be continuously updated throughout the week, based on the most recent news and injuries which means you may see a name or two removed as we get closer to kick-off. You may also see a few late-week additions who pique our interest for some reason too, and by the end of the week, this Watch List will eventually become your Playbook. Again, it’s about teaching you the process.

With that all being said, it's time to check in and see which players we are looking at for DFS this week.

Kirk Cousins , QB MIN, Jimmy Garoppolo , QB SF, James Conner , RB PIT, Mark Ingram , RB BAL, Jerry Jeudy, WR DEN, Golden Tate , WR NYG

Matt Ryan , QB ATL, Mike Davis , RB CAR, Kareem Hunt , RB CLE, Olamide Zaccheaus, WR ATL, Travis Kelce , TE KC

Deebo Samuel, WR SF -- Missed his second-straight practice Friday with an illness and while it still sounds like he'll play, we have to remember he was on a snap count last week and the team may just take it easy on him this week, especially with a pretty soft match-up against the Dolphins.
