The phrase “no news is good news” is certainly appropriate for the running back position this week as pecking order in every backfield stayed the same. Well, technically. Thankfully, the injury bug failed to take a significant bite out of anyone and those who have been on the sidelines continue to heal. So there’s not much to change on the actual Handcuff Grid and that’s a good thing. Of course, there’s always still a little bit of news worthy of your attention.
Green Bay Packers – While head coach Mike McCarthy said Aaron Jones was third on his depth chart and would have to earn his carries, clearly that was nothing more than lip service. Jones is the best back the Packers have and we saw that already in Week 3 when he out-carried both Jamaal Williams and Ty Montgomery .
