Nelson Cruz (TB) – Cruz is considered day-to-day after being removed from Thursday’s game follow a hit-by-pitch in the forearm. X-rays came back negative.

Wander Franco (TB) – Franco’s on the 10-day IL with a hamstring injury but he is reportedly progressing faster than expected and he could return before the end of the regular season.

Framber Valdez (HOU) – Valdez was scratched from his start on Wednesday after cutting his finger shagging flyballs before the game. It’s possible he can make a start this weekend.

Mike Trout (LAA) – Trout has been out since May and the Angels finally acknowledged that it’s unlikely he’ll return to the team before the season ends. He’d likely need a rehab assignment and there just isn’t enough time for that at the moment.

Jo Adell (LAA) – Adell was placed on the 10-day IL on Wednesday after he slammed into a wall in a defensive effort last Saturday. He sustained an abdominal injury and looks like his season is officially over.

Shane Bieber (CLE) – Bieber hasn’t pitched in a few months but did make a rehab appearance on Tuesday and threw 47 pitches. It’s possible he could re-join the big league club before the end of the season.

Brandon Nimmo (NYM) – The Mets intend to activate Nimmo before Friday’s opener against the Phillies.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom threw off a mound on Tuesday for the first time since late July. It still remains to be seen if he’ll get another start in before the end of the year.

Matt Chapman (OAK) – Chapman hasn’t played in almost a week and the team has said there is no fraction in his shin despite the discomfort he’s experiencing. They’re hopeful he can return this weekend.

Chris Bassitt (OAK) – Bassitt has been facing live batters recently. He’s scheduled for another session in a few days but the Athletics still don’t know when he could re-join the team.

Shane McClanahan (TB) – The Rays feel like McClanahan has moved past the back tightness that’s plagued him recently and they do think he’ll be able to make his next scheduled start this weekend.

Trey Mancini (BAL) – Mancini is being re-evaluated on a daily basis for some abdominal soreness he’s been experiencing the last few weeks. He is day-to-day after missing half of the team’s last ten games.

Jesse Winker (CIN) – Winker has been rehabbing in Triple-A and it sounds like he’ll be re-joining the Reds roster later today.

Blake Snell (SD) – Snell was able to only throw 11 pitches in Sunday’s start before walking off with an obvious limp. He’s currently listed as day-to-day with his next start on Friday now in question.

Chris Paddack (SD) – The Padres placed Paddack on the 10-day IL on Monday with elbow inflammation.

Shane Bieber (CLE) – Bieber hasn’t pitched in three months but he’s been cleared to begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday.

Jake Odorizzi (HOU) – Odorizzi left Monday’s start in the second inning after experiencing some soreness in his foot covering foot base during a groundout.

Chris Taylor (LAD) – Taylor could be due for an IL stint. He aggravated a neck injury during Friday’s game and it’s unlikely he’ll play Tuesday night. The team will likely make a decision before Wednesday’s series finale against Arizona.

Brandon Nimmo (NYM) – Brandon Nimmo is getting closer to coming off the IL. He’s been taking batting practice and running at full speed. He’s eligible to come off the list on Wednesday.

Chris Archer (TB) – Chris Archer left Saturday’s start with hip discomfort. He’s scheduled to see a specialist on Tuesday to further diagnose the issue.

Tim Anderson (CHW) – Anderson’s been out since August 28th with a hamstring strain but it sounds like he’ll be activated off the IL ahead of Tuesday’s game.

Andrew Vaughn (CHW) – Vaughn has missed the last few games for the White Sox with some sore legs. Tony La Russa said the team isn’t yet sure when Vaughn could return.

Jason Heyward (CHC) - The Cubs placed Heyward on the 7-day concussion IL.

Gerrit Cole (NYY) – Cole exited his last start early with a hamstring injury, but the Yankees are optimistic he will be able to make his next start on Tuesday against Baltimore.

Wander Franco (TB) – Franco left the Rays’ game against the Tigers on Friday with hamstring tightness. He was placed on the 10-day IL on Saturday and the expect him to miss approximately two-to-three weeks.

Shane McClanahan (TB) – McClanahan was placed on the 10-day IL on Friday with back tightness.

Chris Bassitt (OAK) – For the first time since being struck in the face by a line drive, Bassitt took the mound for a bullpen session. Bassitt is next scheduled for another session on Wednesday. There’s not official timetable for his return but manager Bob Melvin did say they expect him to pitch multiple outings before the season is over.

Chris Sale (BOS) – Sale tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday and will not make his scheduled start on Sunday.

Jake Cronenworth (SD) – Cronenworth suffered a fractured finger when he was struck by a pitch. The Padres are optimistic he will avoid a trip to the IL and that he’ll only need to miss a few days.

Zack Greinke (HOU) – Greinke threw a bullpen session on Friday and didn’t have any issues. It is believed he’ll rejoin the club for Houston’s next series against Texas.

Jack Flaherty (STL) – Flaherty’s been on the IL since late August and the team is optimistic he’ll return before the end of the season.

Matthew Boyd (DET) – The Tigers placed Boyd on the 10-day IL with an elbow strain.

Jameson Taillon (NYY) - The Yankees placed Taillon on the 10-day IL with a tendon injury in his ankle.

Zack Britton (NYY) - Britton underwent Tommy John surgery effectively ending his 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – We finally gained some clarity regarding deGrom’s injury over the last two months. It looks as if he had a UCL sprain that had no serious damage. It has been resolved, but it remains unclear if he’ll return this season.

Gerrit Cole (NYY) – Cole left his start on Tuesday in the fourth inning with hamstring tightness. This will be worth monitoring as this type of injury can be tricky as everyone heals from it differently and these are easy to re-aggravate.

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) – Kershaw made a rehab appearance on Tuesday and got three innings of work in. It’s not yet known if he’ll need another rehab start.

Kris Bryant (SF) – Bryant aggravated his wrist injury on Monday and was held out of Tuesday’s lineup. The Giants don’t expect the injury to be a long-term issue.

Jesús Aguilar (MIA) – Aguilar was held out of Tuesday’s lineup with knee soreness. He’ll be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Francisco Mejía (TB) – Mejia took a foul ball off the shoulder on Monday and was held out of Tuesday’s game although Kevin Cash did say he was available if the team needed him.

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) – Kershaw is set to pitch in a rehab assignment on Tuesday after he threw all of his pitches in a bullpen session on Sunday.

Tony Gonsolin (LAD) – Gonsolin felt good following a rehab assignment and he recently flew to join the team in St. Louis and he could be activated in the next couple days.

A.J. Pollock (LAD) – Pollock is new stranger to the IL and the Dodgers moved him there after straining his hamstring over the weekend.

Brandon Nimmo (NYM) – Nimmo was placed on the 10-day IL on Saturday after straining his hamstring during Saturday’s doubleheader against the Nationals.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer may have avoided a disaster after he fouled a ball of his previously-injured knee. He’ll be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

Mike Yastrzemski (SF) – Yaz is dealing with a non-COVID-related stomach ailment and he was scratched from Monday’s lineup.

Willy Adames (MIL) – Adames was placed on the 10-day IL on Sunday after re-aggravating a quad injury during Saturday’s win over the Cardinals.

Aaron Civale (CLE) – Civale will make his return from the IL on Tuesday. He’s been out since June 24th.

Justin Upton (LAA) – Upton has been dealing with some nagging back injuries recently so the team placed him on the 10-day IL and he’ll be re-evaluated in about a week.

Max Scherzer (LAD) – Scherzer’s been dealing with some hamstring tightness but has been running and throwing off flat ground recently. After being pulled from his last start on Wednesday, he remains on track to make his next start on Monday.

David Price (LAD) – David Price was scratched from his start on Friday with arm soreness. He could land on the IL but they don’t believe the injury is serious.

Lucas Giolito (CHW) – Giolito was placed on the 10-day IL on Friday but the move is retroactive to September 1st. 

Starling Marte (OAK) – Marte is considered day-to-day after being hit by a pitch in the helmet. He was cleared from the concussion protocol, but was out of Saturday’s lineup.

Wander Franco (TB) – Similar to Marte, Franco is day-to-day after being removed from Thursday’s game with a headache. He was cleared from the concussion protocol.

Aaron Civale (CLE) – Civale has been on the IL for two months, but it sounds like he could return to the big league club within the week.

BrIan Anderson (MIA) – Anderson was placed on the 10-day IL with left shoulder subluxation. The same injury cost him two months earlier this season.

Connor Joe (COL) – Joe suffered a mild hamstring injury Friday while running the bases. The Rockies have not yet ruled out a stint on the IL.

Avisaíl García (MIL) – Garcia departed Thursday’s game early with back and hamstring tightness. He’s considered day-to-day.

Brett Anderson (MIL) – Anderson was placed on the 10-day IL after he was hit by a line drive in the shoulder.

Wilmer Flores (SF) – Flores is going to miss a few weeks after he was lifted from Wednesday’s game in the fifth inning with a hamstring injury.

Ozzie Albies (ATL) – The Braves received some good news regarding Albies as his X-rays came back negative. They’re optimistic he won’t have to miss too much time so the Braves avoided losing a second star player for the remainder of the season.

Tim Anderson (CHW) – The White Sox placed Anderson on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain.

Johnny Cueto (SF) – Cueto went back on the IL about as quickly as he came off as he’s once again dealing with a strain in his elbow. It’s a similar injury to the one he dealt with in August as well.

Jon Gray (COL) – The Rockies placed Gray on the 10-day IL with right forearm tightness.

George Springer (TOR) – In just his second game back after returning from the IL, Springer was removed from the game after experiencing some discomfort while running the bases. Charlie Montoyo said it was just a precaution so they didn’t make the matter worse, but no doubt a frustrating situation for Springer.

Lucas Giolito (CHW) – Giolito exited his start on Tuesday with hamstring tightness and he will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Ozzie Albies (ATL) – Albies had to be helped off the field in the fifth inning on Tuesday after fouling a ball off his knee. X-rays came back negative.

Lance Lynn (CHW) - Lynn has been experiencing right knee inflammation so the White Sox placed him on the 10-day IL retroactive to August 29th.

Shohei Ohtani (LAA) - Ohtani took a pitch off his hand while attempting a swing on Saturday and will miss his next start. He is expected to DH against New York.

Johnny Cueto and Alex Wood (SF) - Both Cueto and Wood were placed on the 10-day IL on Monday. Wood tested positive for COVID-19. Cueto did not, but still wasn't feeling well.

J.T. Realmuto (PHI) – Realmuto rolled his ankle during an at-bat on Sunday and was out for Sunday and Monday. He’s also been dealing with some shoulder soreness so the Phillies might give him some time off.

Mike Moustakas (CIN) – Moustakas departed Saturday’s game in the second inning with hip tightness. He didn’t play Sunday or Monday so he’s considered day-to-day.

Jon Gray (COL) – Gray left Saturday’s start in the third inning after experiencing some tightness in his forearm. As of Monday night, he’s questionable to make his next start.

Gleyber Torres (NYY) – Torres is rehabbing his sprained thumb and could be activated off the IL in time for New York’s next series at home.

Evan Longoria (SF) – Longoria has been sidelined with a bruised hand but Gabe Kapler acknowledged that Longoria will return off the IL when eligible on Tuesday.

Ke’Bryan Hayes (PIT) – Hayes exited Sunday’s game in the eighth inning with discomfort in his hand. X-rays were negative but he’ll be re-evaluated on Tuesday.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer was activated off the IL prior to Monday’s game and hit leadoff for Toronto.

Kyle Seager (SEA) – Seager was held out of Saturday’s lineup after he experienced some back tightness during Friday’s 12-inning loss to the Royals.

Jake Fraley (SEA) – Fraley was placed on the 10-day IL with right shoulder inflammation.

David Bote (CHC) – Bote was placed on the 10-day IL on Saturday after he sprained his ankle slipping on a baseball near the batting cage on Friday.

Raimel Tapia (COL) – Tapia could return to the Rockies on Monday depending on how he feels during the rest of his weekend rehab stint in Triple-A.

Andrew Miller (STL) – Miller was placed on the 10-day IL due to a blister on his left foot.

Carlos Santana (KC) – Santana returned to the Royals lineup on Friday, but he woke up with soreness in his hip flexor on Saturday so the Royals are taking every precaution with him for the time being.

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) – Kershaw threw a successful bullpen session earlier this week and Dave Roberts said on Friday that the team will have him throw another session before determining his next steps toward a return.

Kris Bryant (SF) – Bryant left Friday’s game early after experiencing some oblique discomfort while checking his swing. He’s currently day-to-day.

Kenta Maeda (MIN) – Maeda is set to have season-ending surgery on his right elbow. They haven’t yet determined if he’ll need Tommy John. If that’s the case he’ll miss all of 2022 as well, but the preliminary reports are that he’s done for 2021.

Ian Anderson (ATL) – Anderson will be activated off the IL to start Sunday’s finale against the Giants.

Lewis Brinson (MIA) – Brinson collided with teammate Bryan De La Cruz while attempting to make a catch, but the latest MRI revealed no serious damage. He’s day-to-day with a sprained thumb.

Dakota Hudson (STL) – Hudson is set to go out on a rehab assignment after undergoing Tommy John surgery last September. If all goes well he could return before the end of the season.

Brad Keller (KC) – Keller was placed on the 10-day IL on Friday with a strained lat. There’s no timetable for his return, but the Royals believe it could be a lengthy absence.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer ran the bases and hit in the cage at nearly 100% and Charlie Montoyo acknowledged that it’s ultimately up to Springer on when he will return.

Rhys Hoskins (PHI) – Hoskins announced on Thursday that he’ll undergo season-ending surgery to repair a tear in his lower abdomen.

Zach Eflin (PHI) – Eflin’s been sidelined for over a month with knee tendinitis and was scratched from his start on Thursday as the injury flared up during pregame warmups.

Yasmani Grandal (CHW) – Tony La Russa believes there’s a chance Grandal returns for the team’s weekend series against the Cubs.

Trevor Story (COL) – Story left the Rockies’ second game on Wednesday with some leg discomfort. The team doesn’t believe the injury is serious and the off day on Thursday will help with some extra rest.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom played catch on Wednesday marking the first time he had thrown a baseball since being shut down. It’s still unclear if the Mets will have him pitch again this season.

Tyler O’Neill (STL) – O’Neill is considered day-to-day with back tightness. He’s missed the Cardinals’ last two games.

Gio Urshela (NYY) – Urshela should be activated off the IL ahead of Thursday’s game against the Athletics.

Corey Kluber (NYY) – Kluber tossed 3.2 innings in a rehab assignment. As long as there are no setbacks he could rejoin the big league squad in September.

Tejay Antone (CIN) – As soon as he comes off the IL, he lands right back on it. His return lasted just five pitches as he’s been diagnosed with a right forearm strain.

Evan Longoria (SF) – After being reinstated from the COVID/IL, Longoria is now on the 10-day IL with a bruised hand he suffered about a week ago.

Buster Posey (SF) – Posey left Tuesday night’s game in the fourth inning with right knee discomfort.

Brandon Crawford (SF) – Posey’s teammate, Brandon Crawford, exited Tuesday’s game with lower back tightness. Don’t be surprised if either player receives some time off. The Giants are about to enter a stretch of 16 straight days of baseball with no days off in between so they’ll likely be cautious here.

Miguel Andújar (NYY) – Andujar has been shut down two games into his rehab stint and has been transferred to the 60-day IL. As of right now, it looks like he won’t return to the Yankees until mid-September.

Jack Flaherty (STL) – Flaherty left his Tuesday night start after just two innings. His velocity was down and he looked uncomfortable on the mound. As of right now he’s been diagnosed with right shoulder tightness.

Cavan Biggio (TOR) – Biggio, who is rehabbing from a back injury, injured his left arm last Friday while attempting to dive on a defensive play. 

George Springer (TOR) – Springer ran the bases prior to Tuesday’s game and it sounds like he could return to the lineup sooner rather than later.

Tim Anderson (CHW) – Anderson’s been dealing with leg soreness and has missed four straight games but it sounds like he’ll be back for Wednesday’s game.

Willy Adames (MIL) – Adames left Tuesday’s game after he tweaked his left quadriceps muscle in the first inning. The move was mostly precautionary, but his status is worth monitoring over the next few days.

Eduardo Escobar (MIL) – Escobar was placed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday after straining his hamstring during Sunday’s game.

Kyle Lewis (SEA) – Lewis, who hasn’t played in almost three months, could start a rehab stint as early as this weekend. His timetable for a return to the M’s is still unclear though.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom is currently in “a holding pattern” with his rehab stint as he’s set to undergo another MRI on Friday.

Yu Darvish (SD) – Darvish tossed bullpen sessions on Friday and Sunday. He has been out since August 12th with lower back tightness but it’s possible he returns in time for the Padres’ series against the Dodgers.

Clayton Kershaw (LAD) – Kershaw has progressed to throwing the ball from 120 feet. It’s possible he throws a bullpen session this week as well.

Tim Anderson (CHW) – Anderson has missed the last three games with fatigue and soreness in his legs. He was seen participating in drills prior to Monday’s game against the Blue Jays so it doesn’t look like an IL stint is imminent.

Luis Severino (NYY) – It’s worth mentioning that while Severino’s latest MRI came back clean and showing no structural damage it’s still a little unclear when he could potentially return.

Matt Chapman (OAK) - Chapman was scratched from the A's lineup on Monday with a left foot contusion. X-rays were negative. Monitor the news for Chapman updates throughout the upcoming days.

Cavan Biggio (TOR) - Biggio, currently on a rehab assignment, was forced to leave the action on Monday after diving for a ball. We'll need to keep tabs on how serious of an injury it is.

Kenta Maeda (MIN) - The Twins placed Maeda on the 10-day IL on Monday, retroactive to August 22nd. He has forearm tightness. He left his last start against the Yankees due to this injury.

Ji-Man Choi (TB) - Choi is battling a hamstring injury and thus, has been placed on the 10-day IL. The extent of how long he'll be out for is unknown at this time.

Zack Britton (NYY) - Anyone that was holding onto Britton in a saves+holds league, go ahead and drop him. He's been bad anyways, but he has a left elbow strain that has put him on the IL.

Mike Foltynewicz (TEX) - The Rangers' right-hander has been better recently, but has been placed on the Covid-19 list and is expected to miss time because of it.

Noah Syndergaard (NYM) - Syndergaard is expected to begin a rehab assignment this week. When he returns to the majors, he'll join the bullpen, at least for the remainder of this season.

Mookie Betts (LAD) - Per a report over the weekend, Betts will be reinstated from the IL this coming Thursday.

Chris Archer (TB) - Archer left Sunday's start after just two innings due to hip tightness. He's been plagued with injuries this season and any hope that he'd regain form good enough for your fantasy rosters is out the window now.

Gio Urshela (NYY) - The Yankees third baseman started a rehab assignment on Sunday and should be back with the team rather quickly.

Mookie Betts (LAD) – Betts received another cortisone shot in his hip and as of Thursday he said it’s the most normal he’s felt in a while. It’s unknown if we see him this weekend. It’s more likely he’s activated for next week’s scoring period.

Francisco Lindor (NYM) – Lindor’s been taking batting practice from both sides of the plate and participated in defensive drills this week. There’s a fair chance he’s activated and ready to return on Sunday.

Chris Bassitt (OAK) – Bassitt is available to undergo surgery on Tuesday to secure displaced bones in his face. His right eye is still swollen shut and the team hasn’t ruled out a 2021 return, but there’s no official timetable as of right now.

Byron Buxton (MIN) – Buxton started a rehab assignment on Friday and played five innings and logged three plate appearances. Rocco Baldelli is still not sure when Buxton will return to the Twins.

Mookie Betts (LAD) – Betts hasn’t played in almost two weeks as he’s been dealing with a hip injury. Recently he’s been participating in defensive drills, but there’s still no timetable for his return.

Julio Urías (LAD) – Urias threw a simulated game on Wednesday and he’ll likely return when he’s eligible to come off the injured list on Tuesday.

Freddy Peralta (MIL) – Peralta exited his start on Wednesday after two innings. He was experiencing some shoulder discomfort and sure enough he was placed on the 10-day IL with shoulder inflammation.

Rhys Hoskins (PHI) – Hoskins recently said that he’s still dealing with some discomfort in his groin, but he’ll play through the pain the rest of the season. He’s eligible to come off the IL this weekend.

Ian Anderson (ATL) – Anderson threw 76 pitches over 4.1 innings during his latest rehab start. He’ll likely need one more rehab start at Triple-A before rejoining the Braves.

Mike Trout (LAA) – For the first time in about a month, Trout participated in on-field drills. Now this doesn’t necessarily mean we have a timetable for his return. Trout’s missed the last three months of the season and while the organization has remained steadfast that he would return, the window could be closing.

Chris Bassitt (OAK) – Following his scary incident on the field Tuesday night, Bassitt has been diagnosed with a displaced cheek fracture. He will require surgery but he avoided any injuries to his eye and skull.

Anthony DeSclafani (SF) – DeSclafani left his Wednesday start after 1.1 innings of work with an ankle injury. We’ll likely get more clarification on the injury on Thursday.

Jake Arrieta (SD) – Arrieta departed his Padres debut following a home run he allowed in the fourth inning. He clearly looked uncomfortable and we’ll hear more on the injury on Thursday.

Carlos Rodón (CHW) – Rodon’s been dealing with shoulder fatigue but he says he plans on returning to the mound sometime next week.

Willson Contreras (CHC) – Contreras has been on the IL since August 12th but he’s been taking light grounders and getting some defensive work in. It’s unlikely he returns before the end of the month.

George Springer (TOR) - It was leaning towards an IL stint for Springer and finally the news broke on Tuesday. There's no timetable for his return.

Joe Ross (WAS) - It was originally thought that Joe Ross would need Tommy John surgery and that his season was over, but after further review, only one of those things remain true; his season is over. The Nationals are hoping Ross will be ready for spring training.

Cole Hamels (LAD) - That didn't last long. It actually didn't even happen, officially. Before Hamels ever made an official appearance, he felt something in his left arm during a simulated game and has been placed on the 60-day IL, ending his campaign.

Chris Bassitt (OAK) - In a very scary incident, Bassitt was struck with a line drive in the head and was stretchered off the field. The A's have since released a statement stating that he is “conscious and aware."

Dylan Carlson (STL) – Carlson has a right wrist sprain so the Cardinals placed him on the 10-day IL. They don’t think it’s overly serious, but it’s currently sore and they just wanted to give him a couple extra days to rest.

Miles Mikolas (STL) – Mikolas is slated to start the team’s series opener against the Pirates on Friday night.

Luis Severino (NYY) – Severino underwent an MRI on Monday and we still don’t have many details as Aaron Boone and the organization have been hush hush on the matter. That can’t be good news so we’ll continue to watch the Yankees kick the tires regarding his injury.

Gleyber Torres (NYY) – Torres is eligible to resume baseball activities but the team is waiting until he isn’t feeling any pain in his thumb.

Francisco Lindor (NYM) – Lindor has been out since mid-July could return for the team’s next homestand, but that’s still about a week away.

Jesse Winker (CIN) – Winker was placed on the 10-day with an intercostal strain. What does that mean? Basically he’s experiencing pain in his diaphragm/rib area so it could be incredibly uncomfortable for him to breathe, let alone swing a baseball bat.

Yu Darvish (SD) – Darvish left his last start on Thursday with lower back tightness and the Padres officially placed him on the IL retroactive to last Friday.

Adalberto Mondesi (KC) – Mondesi’s been plagued by injuries all season long and he’s going to be re-evaluated after experiencing oblique tightness.

Joe Ross (WSH) – Ross, who previously underwent Tommy John surgery in 2017, was placed on the 10-day IL with a partial tear of his UCL. He’ll be re-evaluated but this situation is looking bleak.

George Springer (TOR) – Springer left Saturday’s game after slamming into the wall attempting to make a catch and he landed awkwardly on his ankle. He walked off under his own power but he was clearly in pain.

Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) – Tatis could be activated before Sunday’s game but nothing is official. Jayce Tingler acknowledged on Saturday the team expected him back within 48 hours.

Julio Urías (LAD) – Urias was diagnosed with a calf contusion after he was hit in the leg by a pitch on Friday. The Dodgers placed him on the 10-day IL on Saturday.

Luis Severino (NYY) – Severino didn’t make his final rehab start on Friday. Prior to the game he said “something didn’t feel right” and we don’t have much else to go off of. He’s set to visit a doctor on Monday so it’s all about playing the waiting game for now.

Aroldis Chapman (NYY) – The Yankees are still optimistic that Chapman will be activated off the IL and re-join the team this coming Tuesday.

Javier Báez (NYM) – The Mets officially placed Baez on the 10-day IL on Friday as he’s been dealing with back spasms. 

Trevor Story (COL) – Story was hit by a pitch in the forearm on Thursday and he was given the night off on Friday. The organization doesn’t believe the injury is serious.

Rhys Hoskins (PHI) – The Phillies are optimistic that Hoskins will come off the IL on Tuesday when eligible.

Michael Pineda (MIN) – The Twins placed Pineda on the 10-day IL on Saturday with a mild oblique strain.

Huascar Ynoa (ATL) – Ynoa has been out with a fractured hand since May, but is expected to re-join the Braves on Tuesday.

Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD) – Tatis is making progress in returning from another shoulder injury. Jayce Tingler wasn’t confident he’d return for this weekend’s series but he did say the team could get him action in the outfield to minimize the risk of aggravating the injury.

Yu Darvish (SD) – Darvish exited his start on Thursday in the third inning with lower back tightness.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) – deGrom will undergo a MRI on Friday to determine if he’s able to start a throwing program and hopefully head out on a rehab assignment in the next couple weeks.

Francisco Lindor (NYM) – Lindor took some batting practice prior to Wednesday’s game. He still might be two weeks away from returning.

Javier Báez (NYM) – Baez has been dealing with a hip issue. While he did pinch-hit on Wednesday, he has been held out of the starting lineup this week.

Kyle Schwarber (BOS) – Schwarber started a rehab assignment on Thursday and could re-join the Red Sox on Thursday.

Bo Bichette (TOR) – While the team is non-commital to an IL stint, Bichette has missed the last two games as Bichette is still dealing with shin contusions he suffered in last week’s series against Boston.
