MSI Friday

*Pentanet.GG v Royal never Give Up
*Unicorns of Love v Royal Never Give Up
*Infinity Esports v Damwon Gaming
*FocusMe v Cloud9
*Istanbul Wild Cats v Mad Lions
*paiN v PSG Talon

After a pretty benign opening on Thursday, lets pray to the upset gods for some chaos today. Teams like Cloud9 and PSG Talon should search for some wins while RNG and Damwon should keep collecting them en route to the Rumble stage. We have a lot of even matchups and some blowouts, but at MSI anything is possible.

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain
Favorite: Gala (RNG: $12,600): Big things is what you should expect from Gala and big things only. Fresh off of a stomp of PNG, there is nothing to suggest that RNG will not do it again. If you want to save some money I’d recommend Perkz against an underperforming FocusMe team. Value Pick: Perkz ($11,100)

Top Lane
Favorite: Xiaohu (RNG: $7,200) My preferred stack is going to be RNG today and the high flying Xiaohu is facing off against a very weak toplaner in BioPanther. Fully expect Xiaohu to repeat his 5/0/10 gnar statline or opt for Fudge to rebound against FocusMe. Value Pick: Fudge ($6,200)

Jungle
Favorite: Blaber (C9: $6,800) North America’s finest looked subpar against a superior foe, but Blaber will bounce back with a vengeance against FocusMe. I am also insanely intrigued with River as a value pick against PNG. River was the only player with kills in the matchup against Mad Lions and I fully expect River to repeat that performance. Value Pick: River ($6,600)

Mid Lane
Favorite: Cryin (RNG: $7,800) If you’ve followed my LCK/LPL picks you’ll know I stand behind Cryin’s fantasy value and I full entrust the star midlaner to have a massive performance against PGG. Otherwise a Cloud9 stack featuring Perkz is a salient idea. Value Pick: Perkz ($7,400)

ADC
Favorite: Zven (C9: $8,000) While C9 overall was poor against DWG, Zven and Vulcan were relatively competent. Expect the duo to be successful or if you want to take a true gamble pick up veteran brTT. Value Pick: brTT ($6,800)

Support
Favorite: BeryL (DWG: $5,800) BeryL has done an amazing job of protecting Ghost while being a playmaker as he paced DWG with 7 assists against C9. Expect the deaths to fall and the assists to add up against Infinity Esports or pair Zven with Vulcan in botlane.Value Pick: Vulcan ($5,200).

TEAM
Favorite: Royal Never Give Up (RNG: $5,800) They are expensive, but RNG are hard to pass up. A picture perfect matchup and good history is everything you need to buy buy buy RNG stocks. Otherwise paiN Gaming are a trendy value pick against PNG.Value Pick: paiN ($4,600)

Stacks:

RNG: Gala, Xiaohu, and Cryin
Gala continues to be a menace in the bot lane while Xiaohu has become an amazing top laner. Cryin will perform in the midlane and overall this stack gives you both a high floor and ceiling.

C9: Blaber, Zven, and Perkz
The Perkz (heh) of this stack is that you get some great value all around allowing you to get some bigger names in the top lane or support. If you wanted to only take one of these players I would go for Blaber due to his high ceiling and medium floor.

Top Picks: Gala, Zven, and Blaber

Top Value: Perkz, brTT, and River
