Fantasy Value Breakdown

Cann’s Starting Lineup for 6/13

$48,800 out of the $50,000 salary cap

Captain (x1.5 Points): ZaZee (SK Gaming)

Top: Jenax (SK Gaming)

Jungle: Shad0w (MAD Lions)

Mid: Larssen (Rogue)

ADC: Hans sama (Rogue)

Support: Kaiser (MAD Lions)

Team: MAD Lions

Captain (1.5x Points) Tier 1: Perkz (G2 Esports/$12,300): This, even with the struggles of G2 this split, should be a lock for a pick. In a comparison between Most of the stats at first glance will make you question this pick with Comp having more kills and being a whole point higher in the KDA category. What is missing in these stats are the fact that despite of the record this split, G2 is a significantly better team. Their fall from grace seems to be a lack of focused play and a sense of team identity. The team who had once been the most wildly aggressive team and would control the pace feels more like they are at the mercy of most teams. The pressure of not making the Summer playoffs and getting a bid to go back to the World Championship should be more than enough to refocus G2 and begin winning again.

Value Pick: Patrik (Excel Esports/$11,100): I am done sleeping on Excel Esports and Patrik at this point. He has 43 kills so far through this split which puts him in the top half of the league, this coming as Excel had one of the worst starts possible for the split. He has a 3.8 KDA and is the focal point of Excel’s success. If Excel wins this match, it will be from them funneling resources into him.

Top Tier 1: Jenax (SK Gaming/$6,200): SK Gaming continues to tease me. They will go 0-2 one week but 2-0 the next. The most consistent player on SK Gaming through the ups and downs has been Jenax. He has a 2.9 KDA and the second most kills in the LEC from the top lane in 37 kills. Dan Dan (Misfits) has had a few games where Misfits has funneled picks and resources into him and it has paid off. This however is not normally how they play the map and Jenax should have this lane to himself. Value Pick: Finn (Rogue/$5,000): This is an insane pick. This should be an almost instant pick up. As the cheapest top laner, Finn is one of the highest rated in the league. DraftKings consistently undervalues Rogue as a teams and their players. Finn has a KDA of 3.1 while Fnatic’s top laner (Bwipo) has a KDA of 2. Finn isn’t flashy, nor does he usually carry. What Finn will bring are consistent points to your line up with his 19+ FPPG and his ability to always add to his team’s success with whatever champion he plays.

Jungle Tier 1: Gilius (Schalke 04/$6,400): If you were to value Schalke 04 against Excel Esports it would be because of the performances put on by Gilius. Through 7 games he has a KDA 4.0 and a FPPG of 22.2. One metric that pops out to me is that Gilius is part of 57% of Schalke’s first kills and participated in 66% of all of Schalke04’s kills. Gilius is constantly roaming and making plays across the map. Value Pick: Inspired (Rogue/$6,000): Continue to jump on cheap Rogue picks. Fnatic is one of the most inconsistent team in the league and they are still 3d place. Inspired has the highest KDA amongst all junglers at 11 and brings Rogue through the early game and then allows the carries to take it from there the rest of the game.

Mid Tier 1: ZaZee (SK Gaming/$7,200): It is no secret that Misfits have had a rough split so far. They have had gut wrenching loss after another. Misfits’ mid laner (FEBIVEN) has not helped in pulling back some of these games either. He has a KDA of just a hair over 2 and his play has him rarely moving outside of his lane to create pressure elsewhere. ZaZee on the other hand is one of the more active mid laners and should be able to get around the map with little resistance from Misfits. Value Pick: Larssen (Rogue/$6,400): Top mid laner on one of the top teams in the league. While Fnatic is a top team in the league, Nemesis is not a top player in the league at this time but instead being carried by Selfmade and Rekkles. There is definitely a chance for Fnatic to win this game, it won’t be because Larssen didn’t perform well.

ADC Tier 1: Crownshot (SK Gaming/$7,200): With many of the top ADCs facing off today, this may be one of the more safe bets for ADC. Misfits have issues and the Kobbe experiment is not working out for them. When SK Gaming win, it is through Crownshot and their mid laner ZaZee.

If you watch the game, don’t be discouraged if Crownshot gets behind in lane a little bit. He will frequently get behind but more than make up for it in the late game.

Value Pick: Hans sama (Rogue/$6,200): This is getting repetitive but again. Pick up cheap Rogue players. Now I will admit, this is a bit more of a risk than Larssen is. Rekkles is no joke and has been the Marquee ADC for Europe for quite a while now and Hans sama will have to continue his push to be the new king of Europe.

SUP Tier 1: Tore (Excel Esports/$5,600): If Patrik is going to have a good game, it is going to be through Tore’s lane dominance. Tore has quietly put together a solid split with a 3.0 KDA and 70% kill participation. All the while staying under 20% of Excell’s total deaths. He is a little pricier for a support but should be a consideration to pair with Patrik. Value Pick: LIMIT (SK Gaming/$5,400): LIMIT is the third highest rated support only behind Kaiser (MAD Lions) and Vander (Rogue). What LIMIT does best is roam with his jungler to the mid lane to gain extra pressure which will make Crownshot’s (ADC) job much easier later in the game. You see this with his XP deficits but then his overall assists are much higher. He has a FPPG of 17.4 which is a pretty solid showing from the support role and he could have a lot of success against Doss (Misfits) today.

TEAM Tier 1: MAD Lions ($5,800): I think MAD Lions will beat Origen in this match. Origen is not consistent and cannot absorb the pressure that MAD can put across the map. My hesitation to pick a large number of players is the fact that I am not sure where it will come from. Origen will get advantages throughout the game, but they won’t be able to close it out. Value Pick: FC Schalke 04 ($4,400): This could be a pretty good steal for you. I don’t feel like this is a lock for their opponent (Excel Esports), especially with the current turnaround for Schalke the last few weekends. I think if Schalke can get their jungler (Gilius) onto an aggressive jungler, they can easily take this game.

Value Combos: *Patrik and Tore (ADC and Support/Excel Esports/$13,000): I love picking bot lanes together. It can sometime feel feast or famine but if you look at matchups you should get a pretty good feel for places to find success. Schalke has the lowest rated bot lane in the league and Patrik is a rising star. I like his aggressiveness in trades and I think he could really put Neon behind.

*Shad0w and Kaiser (Jungle and Support/MAD Lions/$13,400): This is an expensive pair but for good reason. They create the leads for MAD Lions in the early game and will rack you up points quickly. Both are the 2nd highest rated player in their position, and can make a lot of plays to set up their ADC and Mid laner up for success. Worth the money invested here but be prepared to spend less elsewhere.

Top Picks: Crownshot, Patrik, ZaZee, Kaiser, Larssen

These picks are either players into really good matchups or consistently scoring big points week after week. Some of these will be cheaper than others but all of them will be great pick ups for the captain role.

Top Value: Hans sama, Vander, Finn, Labrov All of these picks are either undervalued or a bit of a risk based on matchup. If you are putting in multiple entries per contest, these players may be solid choices to cycle in an out for filler picks.
