Justin FieldsOSUNW980035.84
We finally get Ohio State back on the slate with the Big Ten championship this weekend - and Fields is firmly in play with how valuable he is to the Buckeyes’ success. Even in a tougher matchup on paper vs. Northwestern, we should expect Fields and this offense to be at their usual high-scoring level and the dual-threat QB is a big part of that. Whether he’s throwing for 4-5 TDs or rushing for 100+ and a score - or both - Fields’ DFS value makes him deserving to be the slate’s highest-priced QB and he’ll likely be popular in cash because of the name brand. Even at the expensive price tag, it’s hard to ignore a floor of 30-40 DK points for the highest-scoring offense in action.
Matt CorralMISSLSU970033.23
Ever wonder what the definition of a “smash spot” is? Just look at this matchup for Corral as the QB in a high-scoring, fast-paced Ole Miss offense against an LSU pass defense that’s statistically the worst in college football - allowing the most passing yards per game (331) in the country. We saw both Florida’s Kyle Trask and Alabama’s Mac Jones have success in this matchup and we should expect the same from Corral. He’s thrown for at least 380 yards and multiple TDs in three straight games and we’ve seen legit 45 DK point upside from him recently. The price tag is very high - but we don’t have much evidence to tell us he won’t be worth it. LSU should keep it close throughout with how bad the Rebels’ defense is - so Corral should be chucking it all day.
Trevor LawrenceCLEMND870029.27
Who wants Trevor Lawrence at a season-low price tag? That’s what we’re getting with the Clemson QB here in this ACC championship matchup - and it’ll likely make him popular because of the discount compared to Justin Fields and Matt Corral. People may be off Lawrence because he hasn’t eclipsed 30 DK points in three straight and is usually tough to predict for DFS game-to-game as the Tigers blow out opponents and lean on RB Travis Etienne at times. This week, though, seems like it’ll be a big Lawrence performance as he seeks revenge on the matchup he missed earlier this season with the COVID absence. Clemson is likely going to the air more often in this game with Notre Dame being strong against the run and the game expected to be back-and-forth and fairly high-scoring.
Kellen MondTA&MTENN760022.08
The mid-tier of QB on this slate isn’t as strong as in past weeks, and these guys will likely be lower-owned with people rather paying up for one of the studs above. Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler and Notre Dame’s Ian Book are good tournament plays, but Mond is the best of the bunch for GPP for a little cheaper. Although he’s only eclipsed 30 DK points once this season, Mond has gotten close multiple times and he has the upside to produce in the right matchups. This could be it against a Tennessee pass defense that’s below-average and Texas A&M wanting to lay on the points to maintain their high Playoff ranking in the final weekend. The Aggies like to run the ball a lot too, but maybe the Vols keep it close enough to make Mond throw more this week. He’s a nice low-owned GPP option.
Jordan TravisFSUWAKE720020.77
After Maryland’s Taulia Tagovailoa got ruled out before kickoff on last week’s slate, Travis became pretty chalky and he came through for those that used him as a Super-Flex. The Florida State dual-threat put up 30 DK points with three total TDs and 90 rushing yards - and he could easily do the same in this matchup. Wake Forest’s defense is bad against the run and below-average vs. the pass - and Travis can easily have success both through the air and on the ground. With his rushing and passing combination, Travis should provide another good DFS floor in the matchup and be a great Super-Flex yet again.
Max JohnsonLSUMISS680010.95
We’ve been targeting against the Ole Miss defense all season and this weekend it’s LSU’s turn to present DFS value. Johnson is now the Tigers’ starting QB with the team looking to get their youth more playing time and evaluate for next season. The freshman showed promise last week in a favorable matchup vs. Florida, throwing for three TDs and adding 52 rushing yards for a respectable 27 DK points in a high-scoring game. We may see Johnson do something similar in another back-and-forth, high-scoring game against a Mississippi defense that’s one of the worst in the country. You could easily stack Johnson and Rebels QB Matt Corral in the same lineup for GPP or cash and feel good about it.

Also Consider:

Spencer Rattler - Oklahoma ($8,100)

Ian Book - Notre Dame ($7,900)

Brock Purdy - Iowa State ($7,000)

Sam Hartman - Wake Forest ($6,900)

Jake Bentley - Utah ($6,000)

RUNNING BACKS

Running Backs
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Breece HallISUOU850030.51
It’s crazy to see Hall priced this low as he’s been a DFS stud all year with salaries consistently in the 9k range. This is actually the cheapest he’s been since Week 5 and the discount - and lack of top-tier RB options - may make him popular in cash games yet again. We’ve been able to pencil in 100+ yards and multiple TDs for Hall all season and we should expect a bounceback from him in this Big 12 title matchup even though he hasn’t eclipsed 100 yards in a few weeks. Iowa State will likely lean on Hall and the run game to keep the Oklahoma offense off the field. The matchup vs. Oklahoma’s tough run D isn’t ideal, but Hall did run for 139 yards and two scores vs. them earlier in the year.
Ty JordanUTAHWSU700021.15
There are a number of directions you can go in GPP’s with your RB1 if you fade off Breece Hall. Rhamondre Stevenson, Travis Etienne, Kyren Williams, Jerrion Ealy and and Isaiah Spiller are all in play and each have plenty of DFS floor and upside. One interesting option, though, is Utah’s emerging lead back. After beginning the season in a committee situation, Jordan has now earned a workhorse role for the Utes with three straight games of 100+ total yards and at least 140+ rushing yards in consecutive weeks. His impressive stretch of games has led to both Devin Brumfield and Jordan Wilmore entering the transfer portal - clearing the way for Jordan to get even more work in this game. Washington State has allowed two 100-yard rushers in three games and they could easily allow a big game to Jordan with Utah expected to play with a lead in a higher-scoring game.
Jashaun CorbinFSUWAKE610011.85
Corbin came through last week in a favorable matchup and it’s setting up nicely for him again this week. He’s now firmly the lead back in Florida State’s offense following the La’Damian Webb opt out - and he didn’t disappoint with three TDs and 29 DK points against Duke last game. The Seminoles will also give touches to backup Lawrance Toafili, but Corbin should get the first crack if the game is close. He should have no problem returning value once again in a fantastic matchup vs. Wake Forest’s bad defense allows nearly 200 rushing yards per game. Corbin is still cheap enough to play in cash and he’ll probably be popular because of the affordability compared to other RBs on this slate.
Christian Beal-SmithWAKEFSU590012.78
Who else got burned by Beal-Smith last week when he only put up 7.2 DK points in what should’ve been a good matchup? Although it didn’t go as planned, we can go right back to him this week in another good matchup and a clear path to touches. Beal-Smith is now Wake’s lead back with Kenneth Walker opting out and he’ll face a Florida State defense that’s allowing 200 rushing yards and three rush TDs per game this season. We’ve seen opposing backs have success vs. FSU all year and Beal-Smith should be the next to have a big day. He may even go lower-owned than expected with people moving off him because of the disappointment last week. Still, he’s great in cash and even gets a discount now.
Lawrance ToafiliFSUWAKE420011.52
Two Florida State running backs in play for the second straight week? Yep, that’s what we have in Corbin and Toafili right now in another smash matchup. The duo both came through last game in a favorable situation vs. Duke - and they should both take advantage of a bad Wake Forest rush defense. Even with Corbin having a good game last week, Toafili still had 143 total yards, a TD and an impressive 14.3 yards per touch. The Florida State coaching staff has made it known that Toafili will get more work in these final games with La’Damian Webb recently opting out - that was the case last game and likely again this week. He’s still very cheap for all formats and probably sees big ownership in cash.
Nakia WatsonWISCMINN36007.22
Wisconsin’s backfield is one to monitor before gametime - and we could see Watson in a lead role once again. With Jalen Berger out due to COVID protocols last week, it was Watson who led the Badgers in carries and rushing yards with a TD added in. The matchup and game flow did not go in his favor as Wisconsin had to go to the air as they trailed Iowa - but it should be a different story this week. Minnesota has one of the worst rushing defenses in the country - allowing over 200 yards per game on the ground - and the Badgers should have the lead and lean on the run game more. If Berger is out, Watson is a massive bargain at sub 4k. If Berger is back, he makes for a solid play too at just $5000.

Also Consider:

Rhamondre Stevenson - Oklahoma ($7,900)

Travis Etienne - Clemson ($7,800)

Jerrion Ealy - Ole Miss ($7,300)

Isaiah Spiller - Texas A&M ($7,100)

Tyler Nevens - San Jose State ($6,400)

Chris Curry - LSU ($4,100)

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wide Receivers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Khalil ShakirBSUSJSU820028.77
With Elijah Moore now off the slate, Shakir is the highest priced WR - and it might make the Boise State wideout more popular. He’s a solid play in all formats, too, with how much he’s been involved this season and how much volume he’ll see in this Mountain West title game. In six games this year, Shakir has gone over 100 receiving yards in four of those and 99 or more total yards in all six with some rushing production too. He’s seeing heavy target volume with at least eight touches in every game as Boise makes a dedicated effort to get the ball in his hands as much as possible. We should expect a big performance from him in this conference championship.
Chris OlaveOSUNW730025.76
As long as DK prices Olave cheaper than fellow Buckeyes’ WR Garrett Wilson, we’ll gladly take the discount with similar production from both. In OSU’s last game, it was actually Olave who had the better game with his 10 grabs for 139 yards and a TD compared to Wilson’s 3-59-1 stat line. Both wideouts should have good games once again in this Big Ten title matchup with QB Justin Fields targeting both heavily. Olave, in particular, has 100+ yards in four of five games this season with five TDs total and two games with multiple scores. We could easily see him go for 100+ and two TDs this weekend and is a good cash or GPP option.
Amari RodgersCLEMND650018.68
Look at what we said about Trevor Lawrence above. The Clemson offense will likely be more pass-heavy than normal in this ACC title game and we can comfortably look at the Tigers’ top two receivers. Cornell Powell ($6700) has been more productive than Rodgers lately and DK has now priced him higher. We should take the discount in the latter, though, as Rodgers is the #1 receiver for Clemson and could easily have a big game. He had eight receptions for 134 yards against Notre Dame earlier this season and we should see Lawrence targeting him a bunch this week. Clemson wins this game if Lawrence is connecting often with both Rodgers and Powell - and both can have good games.
Kayshon BoutteLSUMISS570010.19
With Terrace Marshall and Arik Gilbert both opting out recently, Boutte is now LSU’s top wideout and he’s seen a big price jump after two good games. The freshman has 100+ receiving yards in back-to-back weeks with new starting QB Max Johnson looking his way often and not much proven talent around him in the Tigers’ receiving corps. We should see another solid stat line from Boutte against a bad Ole Miss pass defense in a high-scoring game that will likely be an offensive shootout. The top WR in the LSU offense has been a DFS stud almost all year and it’s Boutte who’s apparently up for the task in Marshall’s stead. He's a GPP play with the increase in salary but one that should provide a good floor.
Britain CoveyUTAHWSU540014.97
The Utah passing attack may go overlooked on this slate, but the matchup is a really favorable one. Washington State is one of the worst passing defenses in the country - allowing 300+ passing yards and three pass TDs per game - and the Utes can easily have success through the air this week. Even though the offense can be run-heavy at times, we did see QB Jake Bentley throw it 32 times last week in an offensive game vs. Colorado. That might end up being the case again with a high total expected in this one. Covey is now back from a hamstring injury and he’s been good the last two weeks, with 22 DK points and a TD in both outings. He should provide a good DFS floor with upside at an affordable price. TE Brant Kuithe ($4100) is also too cheap for this good matchup and decent floor.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Kyric McGowanNWOSU480011.26
If the Big Ten title game goes as many expect, then Northwestern will be playing from behind and will have to throw more to catch up. If that’s the case, these Wildcat WRs are very affordable and worth a shot in GPP’s - with possible cash value as well. McGowan has been the team’s most reliable pass-catcher this season with at least four receptions in four straight games and even some rushing work added in too. We should see plenty of targets and/or total touches for McGowan and he can easily put up 15-20 DK points at a bargain price. You can also look at Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman at $4400 as a salary-saver in tournaments.
Charlie KolarISUOU470012.51
If you’ve been playing CFB DFS this season, you know we love to plug in Kolar for cash games because of his usually solid floor. When Iowa State’s offense goes to the air, it’s either him or Xavier Hutchinson who command most of the targets. The tight end Kolar is not only a safety blanket for QB Brock Purdy, but he’s also a big red zone threat - leading the Cyclones in receiving TDs last year and this season. He’s scored in four of the last five games and had six grabs for 131 yards in the one game he didn’t. As long as he’s under 5k, Kolar will always be a good cash game option.
Dontario DrummondMISSLSU440010.84
With both Elijah Moore and Kenny Yeboah opting out of this weekend’s game to prepare for the NFL Draft, a ton of targets and receiving production is now up for grabs in the Ole Miss offense. The logical next men up are Drummond, Braylon Sanders ($4100) and Jonathan Mingo ($3700) - and all are great values on this slate as the top pass-catchers for the highest-scoring offense in action against a terrible LSU pass defense. There’s a really good chance all three come through at these affordable price tags and it’s tough to tell which will have the most ownership. Drummond is presumably the #1 wideout now and he’s on a bit of a hot streak with TDs in three straight games. He’s probably the way to go in cash while Sanders and Mingo are solid for GPP’s.

Also Consider:

Jaquarii Roberson - Wake Forest ($7,000)

Cornell Powell - Clemson ($6,700)

Jalen Wydermyer - Texas A&M ($6,100)

Jaden Walley - Mississippi State ($5,900)

Tre Walker - San Jose State ($5,000)

Damon Hazelton - Missouri ($4,300)

Jaray Jenkins - LSU ($4,300)

Braylon Sanders - Ole Miss ($4,100)

Brant Kuithe - Utah ($4,100)
