We’re back for another slate of CFB DFS with the Week 12 night slate of games! This playbook focuses on the DraftKings contests for the 6-game night slate. Take note that the San Jose State-Fresno State game has been cancelled on this slate, so obviously don’t roster anyone from those teams. Everyone else is in play so let’s dive in!

Malik WillisLIBNCST990043.86
If you can afford him, Malik Willis has the highest floor and ceiling of any QB on this slate and should be strongly considered. Willis is one of the best dual-threats in the country with 1,645 passing yards, 700 rushing yards and 24 total TDs (15 pass, 9 run) through eight games so far. The Liberty offense begins and ends with Willis through the air and on the ground and we can bank on him being heavily involved in all facets in this high-scoring matchup with NC State. The matchup against an ACC opponent may seem tough, but NC State actually ranks 87th nationally in scoring defense and struggled against both the pass and run. Plus, Willis had fantastic games against Syracuse and Virginia Tech earlier this year. If you can fit him, lock him in!
Spencer RattlerOUOKST830026.69
Since Rattler is so much cheaper than Willis, the former will likely be the cash game chalk due to the savings. Rattler is no slouch, though, as he’s at the helm of a fast-paced, high-scoring Oklahoma offense - an attack that’s starting to click after starting a bit slow. Rattler has been a bit up-and-down statistically this season on a game-to-game basis, but the floor should be high for him this week with OU playing a competitive game. The matchup is a tough one - Oklahoma State’s pass defense is one of the country’s best - but Rattler will be leaned upon in this high-scoring rivalry game.
Bailey HockmanNCSTLIB690016.23
On the other side of Malik Willis is NC State’s QB who may go a bit overlooked on this slate. Hockman is now entrenched as the Wolfpack starter with Devin Leary out - and he’s been very solid running the offense. In his last two games vs. Miami and Florida State, Hockman has completed 69% of his passes with a 5:2 TD:INT ratio - and 27+ DK points in both outings. Hockman and Co. have shown they can keep pace on the scoreboard against other potent offenses - and that will have to be the case again here vs. Liberty. He’s a great cash game Super-Flex option and if you can fit both, you can stack Hockman and Willis in this game and take all the points!
Spencer SandersOKSTOU680015.91
On the other side of Spencer Rattler in that OU-OKST rivalry matchup is a solid QB for the Cowboys who could smash as a GPP Super-Flex on this slate. Spencer Sanders is a bit too cheap for how high-scoring this game will be and what his ceiling is as a dual-threat. Game-log watchers might see his 5.22 DK points last time out vs. Kansas State and completely ignore Sanders this time around - but that’s a mistake. That game did not go in Sanders’ favor in terms of game script with OK ST scoring on defense and running the ball a lot in a low-scoring matchup. This week, though, Sanders will have to keep pace with the Oklahoma offense and he’ll be asked to do more both through the air and on the ground. We saw him put up 33 DK points against Texas in a similar situation and we can easily see that production here.

Also Consider:

  • Bo Nix - Auburn ($8,100) - Cash
  • JT Daniels - Georgia ($7,400) - GPP
  • Grant Gunnell - Arizona ($7,100) - GPP
  • Joe Milton - Michigan ($6,400) - Cash
  • Connor Bazelak - Missouri ($5,800) - GPP

Rhamondre StevensonOUOKST800032.7
Imagine if Oklahoma had Stevenson as their lead back all season? Well, they didn’t because the Sooners’ RB was suspended to begin the year - but he’s been a stud in his two games back in the lineup and deserves this expensive price tag. He’s put up 30 or more DK points, 15 total touches and 100+ total yards in both games so far with five TDs altogether. The OU offense isn’t shy about giving him the ball as both a rusher and pass-catcher and they are clearly leaning on his healthy legs and bigger body to pound opposing defenses. He should remain heavily involved in this tight matchup with Oklahoma State - which could result in more carries than usual because OKST are better at defending the pass than the run and this will likely be a one-score game throughout. If you can fit him, he’s a great cash game RB and is definitely a top option for GPP.
Zamir WhiteUGAMSST700017.58
It’s been a couple weeks since Georgia’s been in action - and we can bet that the ‘Dogs will be ready to dominate Mississippi State this week with Zamir White playing a main role in that. The sophomore RB is coming off back-to-back games with 100+ rushing yards and he’s scored in every game so far with seven TDs in six games. He’s the lead back on a team that ideally likes to play strong defense and control the clock with a strong running game. When the game script allows - which it should this week with Georgia as big favorites - White will see heavy volume and should easily outperform this price tag. The matchup vs. Miss St may seem tough on paper, but this defense has allowed a 100-yard rusher in back-to-back games now and is getting worse as the season goes on. White is the top cash game RB on this slate for the price tag.
Tank BigsbyAUBTENN650018.12
One of the SEC’s biggest breakout players this season has been true freshman RB Tank Bigsby, who’s taken over Auburn’s lead back role for the past month-plus. Although he only gained 71 yards in his last game, we can feel good that he found the end zone twice while averaging 47 ypc when the game was still close before eventually heading to the bench in the blowout win over LSU. In his three prior outings, Bigsby rushed for 100+ and put up 20+ DK points in each game as Auburn made the full switch to feed him like a workhorse back with 15-20 touches or more every week. The Tigers should continue feeding Bigsby as he’s clearly a special talent - and he could smash in this matchup vs. Tennessee with Auburn being two-score favorites. At the price, he should be great for cash if you’re not paying up for Zamir White - or fit both!
Joshua MackLIBNCST540014.36
Although Malik Willis is responsible for the bulk of Liberty’s rushing production, we could get the team’s lead back at a very affordable price here. Mack’s 102 carries and 534 rushing yards lead the Flames’ RBs and he could end up seeing a decent workload tonight in a close game. After beginning the season with three straight 100+ yard games, the senior had some down games with an injury thrown in - but then has bounced back in the last two weeks as he returned to having double-digit carries and regular rushing production. The NC State defense may key on stopping Willis tonight, so Mack may be looked upon to get more carries than usual - and the Wolfpack rush D is below-average so there’s plenty of opportunity to smash. He’s a fantastic cash or GPP play on this slate.
Kamari PleasantUWARIZ500014
Pleasant was surprisingly listed as Washington’s starting RB on their opening depth chart last week, but the Huskies backfield ended up being a committee situation. Richard Newton ($5200) had the most carries with 15, Sean McGrew ($4700) put up a nice stat line of nine carries for 91 yards and a TD - and then there’s Pleasant, who ended the night with 12 attempts for 61 yards and a score. Moving forward, though, it should be Pleasant who sees the majority of touches in this run-heavy Washington offense. His 5.1 ypc average was better than Newton’s in the opener, and McGrew is more of a change-of-pace back. For the salary, this is a bargain for a starting RB and he’s a great GPP option against a below-average Arizona rush D.

Also Consider:

  • Kevin Harris - South Carolina ($8,700) - GPP/Cash
  • Chuba Hubbard - Oklahoma State ($7,300) - GPP
  • Eric Gray - Tennessee ($7,100) - GPP
  • Larry Rountree III - Missouri ($6,700) - GPP
  • Gary Brightwell - Arizona ($6,100) - Cash
  • Austin Stogner - Oklahoma ($4,800) - GPP/Cash
  • Sean McGrew - Washington ($4,700) - Cash

Wide Receivers

Tylan WallaceOKSTOU720020.63
The expensive end of WR on this slate isn’t all that impressive and Tylan Wallace would be in a tier of his own if he’s back healthy. Wallace sat out last game with a minor injury and he should be back tonight. When healthy, Oklahoma State’s #1 WR has the potential to be the highest-scoring player on any slate he’s on and that upside is even more valuable tonight without many other stud receivers in action. He’s priced cheaper than what he should be - because of the recent injury - and is coming off a 44 DK point performance last time out that included 11 catches, 187 yards and two scores. We could easily see a similar stat line tonight in what should be a high-scoring game vs. Oklahoma that may force the Cowboys to throw more than usual to keep up.
Shi SmithSCARMIZZ690020.49
On a normal week, Shi Smith is a top-tier DFS WR because of his high volume of receptions in a South Carolina offense that features him heavily. Tonight, though, he may see a ton of targets by default with the Gamecocks dealing with injuries to three other receivers. This could be another double-digit reception game from Smith, who already has three of them this season including 10 grabs for 117 yards and a TD last week. In this high-total matchup with Missouri, we should see plenty of involvement from Smith when SC has the ball - which may end being in catch-up mode with more throwing than usual.
Bo MeltonRUMICH590021.18
Although Rutgers has lost three straight and stand at 1-3 for the season, Bo Melton has been a bright spot on an otherwise underwhelming offense. The senior wideout’s 334 receiving yards lead the team by a wide margin (the next closest is 200 yards behind), he’s scored multiple TDs in two seperate games already, and putting up per-game averages of five catches, 83 yards and 21 DK points. He should continue to see plenty of targets in Rutgers’ offense and has upside to go off against a below-average Michigan defense.
Eli StoveAUBTENN540015.78
In the Auburn receiving corps, Anthony Schwartz ($6700) and Seth Williams ($6300) are more well-known and good DFS options weekly. However it’s Eli Stove who’s the cheapest of the three and is the better floor play right now as he’s seeing a healthy amount of targets from QB Bo Nix. In his four healthy games this season, the senior has totaled 21 catches for 201 yards and three scores with 16+ DK points in three of those weeks. Overall, he’s averaging 6.5 touches, 60 yards and nearly a TD per game - which we’ll take all day at sub 6k. He’s great for cash while Schwartz and Williams are better GPP plays.
Emeka EmezieNCSTLIB520013.75
This Liberty-NC State game is one to target overall on this slate, and Emezie represents a very affordable piece from both offenses and makes for a cheap way to stack him and QB Bailey Hockman. Emezie leads the Wolfpack in receptions (31), receiving yards (515) and receiving TDs (4) so far as quietly puts up floor points nearly every week. The ceiling isn’t very high, but if you want to lock down around 15 DK points on this slate - Emezie is your guy as he’s been remarkably consistent with his receiving production. He seems to have a solid connection with Hockman recently and the two will likely connect for plenty of production in a high-scoring matchup with Liberty.

DJ StubbsLIBNCST490011.98
So if we like Malik Willis at QB, we need to look at some of his receivers right? Well although Willis is perfectly fine as a one-off because of his rushing stats - there are some cheap options in Liberty’s receiving corps to target. Stubbs tops the list because he’s mispriced compared to the other Flames WRs. The senior leads the team in receptions (30) and receiving yards (399) and proved capable of solid stats even against ACC competition earlier this year. This Liberty offense is usually run-heavy, but Stubbs is Willis’ top target when he does go to the air - which may be more than normal in a back-and-forth, high-scoring game vs. NC State.
Stanley Berryhill IIIARIZUW480021
First off, it’s important to note that our expectations should be tempered for Arizona’s passing offense tonight. This is a tough matchup vs. a Washington defense that allowed just 85 passing yards and zero TDs in the opener while Oregon State did most of its offensive damage on the ground. Still, the Wildcats could find success through the air and their WRs are worth GPP fliers at affordable prices. Berryhill’s eight catches in the first game led the team as he appears to be one of Grant Gunnell’s favorite targets. The junior has just 19 catches all of last season so this is certainly a welcome surprise and his DFS salary presents some GPP value right now.

Also Consider:

  • Anthony Schwartz - Auburn ($6,700) - GPP
  • Seth Williams - Auburn ($6,300) - Cash/GPP
  • Kearis Jackson - Georgia ($5,700) - GPP
  • Ronnie Bell - Michigan ($5,600) - GPP/Cash
  • Jalen Knox - Missouri ($4,800) - Cash
  • Theo Wease - Oklahoma ($4,600) - GPP
  • ?Cary Angeline - NC State ($4,100) - GPP
