Top Guards

Mason Jones - Arkansas ($9,000 DK / $8,400 FD)

We definitely want to target this Arkansas offense as the Razorbacks are projected to score the most points on tonight’s slate in a favorable matchup. Vanderbilt owns the second-worst defense in the SEC - and the worst offense - as their 3-15 conference record is no accident. Arkansas should lay it on the Commodores and the offensive production begins and ends with Mason Jones. The junior may seem expensive, but he’s been worth it lately. Over the last four games, Jones has put up at least 40 DK points in every outing while averaging 32 PPG. He’s on an extremely hot scoring streak and he’ll be motivated to play well as Arkansas fights for a bid into the NCAA Tournament. What’s more impressive is that Jones is playing this well even with Isaiah Joe back healthy and also scoring a ton himself. It’ll be tough to stack both Jones and Joe in the same lineup, but the ceiling and floor for the former is so high right now.

Desmond Bane - TCU ($8,600 DK / $7,900 FD)

At first glance, we usually would want no part of this TCU-Kansas State game with a 127 projected total between two slow-paced squads. However, it’s impossible to ignore the dominant DFS production that Desmond Bane has been providing lately - even if TCU ended the year going 3-10 in the final 13 games. Bane is averaging 38 DK points over his last ten games and he scored 22+ real points in each of his final four outings. One of his recent performances came against K-State in mid-February when Bane put up 49.5 DK points with a stat-stuffing line of 17 points scored, eight assists, eight rebounds and four blocks. That stat line is very typical of the senior wing, who consistently has a high DFS floor with his production in all categories. His recent hot scoring streak raises his value even more - and Bane could certainly provide 35-45 DK points or more against a Kansas State team that recently lost 10 straight games in February and March.

Jervay Green - Nebraska ($5,600 DK / $4,900 FD)

Nebraska is scrambling for healthy bodies right now and it’s thrust Jervay Green into a much larger offensive role. Starting guards Cam Mack and Dachon Burke will miss the Big Ten tournament and the team recently added a couple Cornhuskers football players to the roster just to have some resemblance of depth. Green, who started a handful of games earlier this season, was re-inserted into the starting rotation in Nebraska’s season finale with both Mack and Burke out. In that game, he played 34 minutes and scored 15 points while providing 26 DK points. Prior to getting that start, Green had been a solid bench player for Nebraska - but he now has to play a lot more in the backcourt and that near-guaranteed playing time makes him safe for value. He’s a better play on FD, though, with the price differential.

Thomas Dziagwa - Oklahoma State ($4,800 DK / $4,400 FD)

Although he comes off the bench, Thomas Dziagwa has solid value because of his sixth-man scoring role for the Oklahoma State offense. The senior began the season as a regular starter, but he’s been a super-sub for the Cowboys for the majority of Big 12 action. Dziagwa ended the year on a high note, averaging 14.7 PPG over the final three games with 19 points in the season finale - his most since mid-November. We’re targeting Dziagwa because of his three-point shooting in a favorable matchup. Iowa State has the worst three-point defense in the conference and Dziagwa is shooting a team-high 40% from deep during Big 12 games - which is the fifth-highest mark in the conference. In two games against Iowa State this year, he’s gone 8-for-17 from three-point range (47%) with 14 points scored in both outings. At sub-5k on both sites, Dziagwa could be one of the better value plays if he’s making his perimeter shots in a matchup that sets up well for his skillset.

Caleb Grill & Tre Jackson - Iowa State

For the second straight game, Iowa State will likely be without starting point guard Rasir Bolton - and that absence should result in both Caleb Grill and Tre Jackson being solid values. Bolton will be a game-time decision tonight, but he’s reportedly doubtful to play as he battles a concussion. Grill ($3,700 DK / $3,600 FD) started in Bolton’s place on Saturday and he logged a team-high 38 minutes (a season-best for him) while providing 10 DK points. It wasn’t a high DFS performance, but the extended playing time is certainly encouraging for the freshman as Iowa State is likely already looking towards what talent they have for next season. He’s a good value at these price tags if he gets a second straight start. Meanwhile, Jackson ($4,500 DK / $4,000 FD) has started the last 11 games with Tyrese Haliburton out for the year. He should have a bigger role tonight if Bolton sits - although he only played 18 minutes last game with Bolton out as he battled foul trouble. Before, though, Jackson was playing 30+ minutes as a starter and provided 20-30 DK points in a couple games with a larger offensive role. He’s only a GPP play today because of his foul issues and bust potential - but the playing time should be there if Bolton is out again.

Mike McGuirl - Kansas State ($4,400 DK / $4,500 FD)

With Montavious Murphy out for the rest of the season, Mike McGuirl has re-entered the starting rotation and he’s been a value over the last couple weeks. The junior began the season as a regular starter but was relegated to the bench during most of conference play. With Murphy out, though, McGuirl has now started the last four games and logged 30+ minutes in each of the final three outings. Since moving into the starting lineup, McGuirl is averaging nearly 10 PPG and 18.4 DK points - and he’s put up 21 DK points in both of the last two games. Now that he’s seeing extended minutes, McGuirl is providing just enough production across all stat categories to return value - and he’s a solid cash option despite playing in a low-total matchup with TCU.

Noah (Jon) Vedral - Nebraska ($3,000 DK / $3,000 FD)

Anyone interested in the ultimate GPP play? Look no further than Nebraska’s Noah Vedral (he’s listed as Jon on FD and Noah on DK). Vedral is actually a quarterback for the Cornhuskers’ football team and he was just added to the basketball roster this week for depth purposes. Nebraska will be without starting guards Cam Mack and Dachon Burke for the Big Ten tourney - and Vedral could actually see some playing time with the team lacking serious depth in the backcourt. There’s a reason why he’s min price on both sites, though, as Vedral hasn’t played competitive basketball in over two years. Still, he’s no slouch at the sport. The sophomore won three state basketball titles in high school, averaged 13.6 points per game in his senior season and racked up 1,286 total points in his high school career. There’s no guarantee that he’ll play tonight, but there is a scenario where the Cornhuskers need a healthy body on the court if one of their guards gets into foul trouble - or if they are down by a lot early to Indiana and give Vedral the green light to shoot away. We can’t trust him in cash, but he’s worth a look in GPP at min price.

Other Guards to Consider:

  • Cole Anthony - North Carolina ($8,400 DK / $8,300 FD)

  • Breein Tyree - Mississippi ($7,600 DK / $7,100 FD)

  • Isaiah Joe - Arkansas ($7,000 DK / $5,200 FD)

  • Jamorko Pickett - Georgetown ($6,800 DK / $5,700 FD)

  • Greg Williams - St. John’s ($5,600 DK / $5,000 FD)

  • David Caraher - St. John’s ($3,900 DK / $3,800 FD)

  • Tye Fagan - Georgia ($3,500 DK / $3,600 FD)

Top Forwards

John Mooney - Notre Dame ($9,200 DK / $8,500 FD)

It’s not often we get a matchup made in heaven for our high-priced DFS players, but that’s definitely the case for Notre Dame’s big man tonight. John Mooney is a rebounding machine - averaging nearly 12 boards per game over the last ten - and Boston College is one of the worst rebounding teams in the ACC with a ton of injuries to their frontcourt. Mooney should feast in this matchup and he has not disappointed against BC earlier this season. In two games against the Eagles, the senior averaged 19 points scored, 15 rebounds and 45 DK points. When he last faced them in February, Mooney put up 46 DK points with 22 points scored and 12 boards. His expensive price tags this season have usually made Mooney a GPP play - but he’s clearly safe for cash games because of his previous proven success in this matchup.

Naji Marshall - Xavier ($8,400 DK / $8,100 FD)

It’s no secret that Xavier’s offense heavily features its two big men in center Tyrique Jones and point-forward Naji Marshall. Both are firmly in play tonight, but it’s Marshall who’s been playing lights out to end the regular season and provides a slightly higher DFS floor with his production across all stat categories. The 6-foot-7 junior is averaging 36 DK points over the last ten games and he’s now scored 20+ real points in four straight. One of those performances came against tonight’s opponent (DePaul), when Marshall put up 47 DK points with his stat-stuffing line of 23 points scored, six rebounds, six assists and four blocks/steals. He’s a nightly triple-double threat with his high involvement on both ends of the court - and we can bank on Marshall having the ball in his hands all game long as Xavier tries to play their way into the NCAA Tournament.

Trayce Jackson-Davis - Indiana ($7,400 DK / $7,000 FD)

Indiana’s freshman center is a great cash pivot off of the other high-priced forwards on this slate and his salaries are certainly attractive in a favorable matchup. Nebraska is not only the worst rebounding team in the Big Ten, but the Huskers also own the worst defense in the conference - especially against opposing big men. It’s no surprise, then, that Trayce Jackson-Davis has averaged 50 DK points across his two previous meetings with Nebraska this season - averaging 21.5 points scored, 14 rebounds and two blocks in those games. All signs are pointing towards Jackson-Davis having another smash performance and he’s just too cheap right now considering what he’s already done against this Nebraska frontcourt. He’s a very safe cash option and should be strongly considered for GPP’s as well.

Bourama Sidibe - Syracuse ($6,600 DK / $5,500 FD)

Syracuse’s starting center hasn’t been all that valuable for most of this season, but he’s figured something out lately and he’s one of the best GPP plays in the mid-range of this slate. Bourama Sidibe has grabbed double-digit rebounds in each of the last five games and he’s averaging 34 DK points over this recent span - with two outings of 45 or more DK points. One of those performances actually came against tonight’s opponent (North Carolina) at the end of February when Sidibe put up a slate-breaking 51 DK points thanks to his 17 points scored, 15 boards and six blocks. Although we can’t realistically expect a repeat of that outing, Sidibe has shown us his DFS ceiling and that type of outing would easily win you a GPP at these salaries.

Qudus Wahab - Georgetown ($5,100 DK / $4,800 FD)

As long as Hoyas’ starting center Omer Yurtseven remains out, his fill-in Qudus Wahab will continue to be a value play for us. Yurtseven has missed six of the last seven games and Wahab has been starting in his absence - and he’s been doing just enough to return value at his cheap price tags. In particular, the 6-foot-11 freshman has put up 35 and 21 DK points in his last two starts, respectively, while totaling 23 points scored and 20 rebounds combined in those games. Wahab should have a big advantage on the boards tonight as St. John’s is one of the worst rebounding teams in the Big East. Plus, this matchup will be fast-paced overall - which will result in more rebounding opportunities for Wahab, who is a top five rebounder in conference (per KenPom). If Yurtseven is out again - which seems likely as of Wednesday night - then Wahab should be safe for all formats to provide 4x or better value.

CJ Felder - Boston College ($4,500 DK / $3,700 FD)

With Boston College dealing with a bunch of injuries lately, CJ Felder saw his role and minutes increase at the end of the regular season. The Eagles were without Nik Popovic, Jared Hamilton and Jairus Hamilton for the last two games and Felder entered the starting rotation in their absences. It’s unclear whether or not the Hamilton brothers will be active tonight, but Popovic will reportedly miss the whole ACC Tournament with his back injury. At the least, we can expect Felder to continue playing extended minutes with Popovic out and both Hamiltons being limited at best. In his two recent starts to end the season, the freshman Felder put up at least 19 DK points in both outings with solid production across all stat categories. The starting role is nothing new to him either, as Felder previously logged 11 starts during conference play earlier this year.

Ethan Henderson - Arkansas ($4,500 DK / $3,900 FD)

If you’re looking for another cheap forward on this slate, Ethan Henderson definitely presents some value as he’s taken over the starting center role for Arkansas lately. The sophomore started the final four games of the regular season while former starter Reggie Chaney hasn’t logged 10 minutes in any of the past six games. In three of his recent starts, Henderson has put up at least 19 DK points with his role as the team’s best rebounder and shot-blocker - something that’s given him just enough DFS value despite not being a high-upside offensive threat at all. Getting a starter at these price tags - on the team projected to score the most points on this slate - is great value, especially since he’s been providing solid 4x production in a new role with extended playing time.
