You can’t win a championship with the team you drafted, which means, you’ll need to be active on the waiver wire to help replace injured players, and other who are just not getting the job done. Jakub Vrana - Washington Capitals - Winger
If you’re looking for a short-term solution, Jakub Vrana is a nice option to consider. The Washington forward has seven points (4G, 3A) in 12 games this season. It’s still early, but that puts him on pace for 47-points, which would match his career high he set last season. The 23-year-old is playing on the third line, which isn’t ideal, but there is a chance that he finds his way into the top six, which would be a nice boost.
