Montreal Canadiens Vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Habs managed to force a game six, and they’ll need to win again tonight if they want to keep this series alive.

Let’s start with Montreal, who desperately need their offence to do something. Their second line is by far their best line, so it would make sense to stack Tyler Toffoli, Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. All three play together on the second power play unit, so the correlation is there.

If you want to get cute, Tomas Tatar and Brendar Gallagher are both affordable and play together on the top line. It’s been a difficult series for both, but that will keep their ownership low. Tatar isn’t seeing any power play time, so his upside is definitely limited.

On the blueline, Jeff Petry is really the only player I care about. He has no points in this series, but he’s by far their best offensive defenceman, and at some points, he’s going to find the scoresheet. If you want to go with a four-man power play stack, Erik Gustafsson should be on the second power play unit, so he’s worth stacking with MTL2 if you need the discount.

In goal, Carey Price is an easy choice. He’s been really good this series, and if the Habs do wing this game, it will be because of him.

For the Leafs, the only line I really care about is the second line, specifically Alex Galchenyuk and William Nylander. Both players have been excellent this series, and that probably won’t change tonight.

I know it’s tempting to play Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, but I just don’t see the value. Both players are very talented, but the goals aren’t there, and their price tags are high. You can test your luck with one, or both, in a GPP, but that’s about it.

In goal, Jack Campbell has played very well this series, but Montreal just isn’t generating enough shots, so his upside is limited. He’s got a good chance of picking up the win, but I don’t know if he’s going to hit value.

Boston Bruins Vs. New York Islanders

This game has a total of five, so Vegas doesn't expect much scoring to go on in this one, and I agree with them. Both teams are great defensively, so it should be a close checking game.

For Boston, the only line I would really consider is the second line. David Krejci and Taylor Hall have been really good together, and they continue to give Boston the depth they needed.

On defence, Charlie McAvoy is the best defenceman on the team, so he’s the one I would consider. You could look at Matt Grzelcyk, who is cheaper than McAvoy and plays with Hall on the second unit, but it’s really a question of preference.

In goal, Tuukka Rask is expected to start, and is by far my favourite goalie option. He’s the most expensive goalie on DK, but very much worth the price.

For the Islanders, I don’t trust any specific line, so I’ll probably just have pieces of certain lines. Kyle Palmieri and Jean-Gabreil Pageau are the best bang for your buck, so I would look to target both in any format. Outside of those two, I really can’t get behind anyone else.

If you do need another goalie option, Ilya Sorokin is cheap, and could actually hit value without getting the win. It’s going to be tough, but this game probably won’t be high scoring, and if he can hit the save bonus, that’s more than enough to get us over the value line.
