Updates from early this morning when the Playbook was originally posted:

  • Jaroslav Halak will start in net for Boston as opposed to Tuukka Rask. Like Rask, Halak is a good option for cash games on DK.
  • Nicklas Backstrom will not return to the lineup for the Caps tonight, so Evgeny Kuznetsov will remain the top line center. We don't love the matchup for Washington's top line on the road in San Jose, so Kuz is less appealing than he would be if Backstrom were back and Kuz was back down on the second line. Lars Eller will remain the second line center as a result, and he's priced reasonably enough for use on FD.
  • The over/under for the Habs/Isles game ticked up from 5.5 to 6. The Isles are playing for the second night in a row and are a team the underlying numbers say may have been a bit fortunate in terms of goal prevention to this point. Montreal's most productive forward is Brendan Gallagher, and he is priced well on DK, which may be where I try to work in some Habs exposure.
