Louisiana Tech @ Mississippi State (-8) - 141

Oklahoma (-5) @ North Texas - 128

Furman @ Auburn (-12) - 144

Guards

Tyson Carter - Mississippi State - FD $7,400 - DK $8,400

Carter is the most consistent guard on this slate and the game script sets up well for him. Louisiana Tech plays faster than Miss. St and it’s going to give the Bulldogs a few extra possessions to play with. Carter has been over 35 fantasy points in four of eight games this season and hasn’t been below 16 (blowouts). Carter is reliable for another 30+ fantasy points tonight and his upside lies in the 40’s.

Samir Doughty & J’Von McCormick - Auburn - FD $7,100 - $6,400 DK $8,500 - $7,200

Auburn holds the highest implied total of the night and there’s no issue with having exposure to three or four of these guys. Furman plays at a fast pace and Vegas expects Auburn to score 78 points.  These guys are both in solid spots and I really don’t prefer one over the other. I’ll have both in every lineup as I expect them to combine for 65-70 fantasy points as a combo. Head coach Bruce Pearl came out after last game and said J’Von McCormick needs to find his own shot more and stop worrying about feeding everyone else. If says he’s safe for 25 fantasy points and Samir Doughty is the captain of this team. He’s everywhere on the floor and he’s going to flourish in the fast-paced environment. If you’re looking for value from Auburn, Devan Cambridge has been terrible of late but has a ton of upside and he will see 12-16 minutes.

Jordan Lyons - Furman - FD $4,900 DK $5,900

Lyons has been ice cold of late, but this is a guy who will be in the $7k’s for the majority of the season. He shoots the ball as much as anyone on the team and is the leader of the offense. The senior guard averaged 16 points, two rebounds, and two assists last season and has seen an increased usage this season. The price is way too low and Lyles is an auto-play for me.he could of course get cold once again, but it’s hard to bet on a guy going cold that shoots 12-17 times a game and averages 15 points.

DaQuan Bracey - Louisiana Tech - FD $5,100 - DK $7,100

Bracey is just too cheap for the talent. The senior guard averages 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists in 29 minutes per night. His minutes are trending in the right direction and he’s going to play a huge role if La Tech wants any shot of taking down the Bulldogs. This game is going to be played at a rather fast pace and Bracey thrives in the open floor. Derrick Jean is in play in the same backcourt, but I prefer Bracey in cash games.

Umoja Gibson - North Texas - FD $5,600 - DK $5,300

If Gibson was priced correctly, I wouldn’t love this spot in a pace down game. However, North Texas is very much used to playing slow, as they rank 329th in pace. Gibson is no stranger to the half court game and the speedy Sooners May give them a few extra possessions, if anything. Gibson is far too cheap here for a guy that’s put up 25+ fantasy points in 30+ minutes for four straight games. In this same game, Austin Reaves will be popular. I don’t hate the play, but this is a pace down game for Oklahoma and I’d rather pay for one of the three guys mentioned above.

D.J. Stewart & Iverson Molinar - Mississippi State FD $4,300 - $4,200 DK $4,700 - $4,600

Our top two value plays at guard come from the same game. Iverson Molinar is the starting shooting guard and he averages 11 points and three assists in 30 minutes a night. D.J. Stewart is the sixth man and relied upon to score, averaging 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists. They’re both typically around 20 fantasy points and both have the upside up get into the 30’s in this match-up. I’ll take Molinar if I have to choose one, but have equal exposure to both across the board. Kaleb Ledoux is a great GPP pivot off these guys.

Forwards

Reggie Perry - Mississippi State - FD $7,800 DK $8,700

I’ll take Reggie Perry over Clay Mounce tonight. If you can fit both, you’re likely getting 70-80 fantasy points out of the pair. I just have a ton of exposure to Lyons for Furman and don’t need to overdo it. Reggie Perry is a lock for 30 fantasy points in this match-up as Mubarak Muhammad is certainly not capable of containing him. No matter how many minutes Perry plays, he’s extremely consistent. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in six of seven games this season and missed once by just three fantasy points. Louisiana Tech ain’t equipped to slow Perry down and he’s my favorite forward regardless of price.

Deng Geu - North Texas - FD $6,000 DK $4,800

North Texas is only a five-point underdog and they’ll be the team playing up in pace, so I’d much rather target them than the Sooners. Doolittle and Reaves will still put in work, but have severely restricted upsides with this pace. Deng Geu is consistent in his role and you can bet on 25 fantasy points in this match-up. Doolittle isn’t a good defender and I like Geu to battle him for most of the night and make this game close with Umoja Gibson. I hate targeting such a low total, but we only have three games on the board and North Texas will be seeing a big boost in pace.

Danjel Purifoy - Auburn - FD $5,400 DK $6,100

Purifoy is the most reliable Tiger in this frontcourt. There’s a lot of hype around Anfernee McLemore, but you can’t rely on a guy that doesn’t play 20 months. Purifoy is over 30 minutes on most nights and while he hasn’t put it together just yet, he’s shown signs and has been over 23 fantasy points in three of the last four games. Furman has Clay Mounce on the inside, but he’s more of a scorer than stopper. Purifoy has a ton of upside and he’s too cheap on both sites.

Noah Gurley - Furman - FD $4,800 DK $5,700

As mentioned, Clay Mounce is a great play if you can fit him. There isn’t much to love at forward and Mounce is up there with Perry as a lock for 30 fantasy points. With that said, Auburn is a big team and Noah Gurley is going to play substantial minutes tonight. He’s cheap on both sites and he has the upside when on the court. If you’re looking for some mid-range value that won’t come in very highly owned, consider Gurley.
