Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics (-3)

Game Total: 207

The Celtics are in a must-win spot. Falling behind 3-0 gives them a very slim chance of winning the series. The Celtics blew a 12-point lead in Game 1 and lost in overtime and then lost a 17-point lead and fell by five in Game 2. The Celtics have been favored in each game with this line being the highest. The Heat have been the best team in the playoffs, winning 10 of 11 and covering the spread in each win. The Celtics have been sloppy with the ball and have had some bad turnovers leading to easy points for the Heat. Gordon Hayward is expected to return for the Celtics and be on a minutes limit.

Player Breakdowns

Please note these players are ranked in order. If a player is not mentioned it doesn’t meant they are a fade.

MVP/CPT

1. Bam Adebayo PF/C, MIA – Adebayo has taken advantage of the Celtics weakness at center. In the first two games, he has 39 points, 16 rebounds, 13 assists, three steals and three blocks. He has 43.5 and 46 DK points in those games. He has hit 15 of 28 shots from the field. He fell one assist short of a double-double in Game 1 and had a double-double in Game 2.

2. Gordan Dragic, PG MIA – If you ask most people who the leading scorer for the Heat is in the playoffs, Dragic likely isn't the answer and it's him. He's been great and five players are priced higher than him for the captain spot on DK. He has taken 19 shots from the field in each of the first two games and hit 11 and 10 shots. He had 46.75 DK points in Game 1 and 36.75 in Game 2. He scored 29 points in Game 1 and 25 in Game 2 and hit three three-pointers in each game.

3.Jayson Tatum, PF BOS – Tatum is going to need a big game for the Celtics to win this. He is coming off his worst game in a while as he only took 12 shots from the field and had 34.75 DK points. Tatum had at least 60.5 DK points in his previous three games and took at least 21 shots from the field in those games, so he can be the highest scorer on the slate. In the playoffs, Tatum is averaging 25.3 points, 10 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.2 blocks and one steal.

Mid-Tier

1 Marcus Smart, PG/SG BOS – Smart hasn't been as good in the first two games of the series, but he plays huge minutes and has potential to smash at his salary. In the last 10 games, Smart is averaging 18.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.7 steals. Smart scored 26 points in Game 1, shooting 9-for-18 from the field and followed with 14 points in Game 2 on 5-for-13 from the field.

2. Tyler Herro, SG MIA – Herro has been playing great, especially the last three games. He has 37, 40.75 and 30.75 DK points the last three games. Over the last three games, he has 37 points, 28 rebounds, 20 assists and six three-pointers. In Game 1 he had 14 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.

3.Jae Crowder, SF/PF MIA – Crowder has been very consistent in the playoffs. He has at least 27 DK points in six consecutive games. He had 37.25 DK points in Game 1 and 27 in Game 2. He has hit 27 three-pointers over the last six games. He played 36 minutes in Game 2 and 39 in overtime in Game 1.

Dart Throws

1. Duncan Robinson, SG MIA – Robinson has been inconsistent. He struggled in Game 1 with foul trouble and only played 17 minutes. He showed in Game 2 he can be a difference maker. Robinson takes almost all of his shots from beyond the arc, but he can hit them in bunches as he did in Game 2 hitting 6-for-12 and added four assists, two rebounds and one block for 31.5 DK points.

2.Brad Wanamker, PG BOS – Wanamaker has played more minutes in the series with 25 and 24 minutes against the Celtics after topping 20 minutes once in the seven-game series against the Raptors. He had 11 points, six assists and five steals in Game 1 for 33.75 DK points. While that can't be expected, he had seven points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal for 14.5 DK points in Game 2 and he saves salary and helps get a balanced lineup with some of the top plays, too.
