Matt Murray made 31 saves during Sunday's 4-3 SO victory over the Calgary Flames.

Murray allowed a total of three goals on 34 shots and finished the night with a .912 save percentage. Murray put up a good performance during this matchup and was a big factor in securing the win for the Senators. Calgary definitely put up more offensive pressure than Ottawa during the game, and thus Murray's level of play was a game-deciding element. This win improves his season record to 7-11-1. Murray has had a rather off and on season, so he will need to find some consistency before he can be considered an option in a fantasy scenario.

Colin White scored a goal during Sunday's 4-3 SO win over the Calgary Flames.

White's goal came just over seven minutes into the second period. He scored after picking up a loose puck in front of the Flames net. His goal put the Senators up 3-1. This was White's seventh goal of the season. He now has a total of 12 points in 23 games played. White has played rather well against the Calgary Flames in particular this year. In the five games Ottawa has had against Calgary, White has five points.

Jacob Markstrom made 19 saves during Sunday's 4-3 SO loss to the Ottawa Senators.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 22 shots and finished the night with a .864 save percentage. Markstrom had a less than ideal start to the game, as he allowed two goals in just over two minutes during the first period. This gave Ottawa an early lead. Calgary managed to make a comeback, but Markstrom was unable to hold the Senators at bay during shootout and he comes out of this game with an OT loss. This brings his record to 8-7-2. Including this matchup, Markstrom has now gone four consecutive games without a win. He has allowed three or more goals in every game during this losing stretch.

Matthew Tkachuk picked up two points during Sunday's 4-3 SO loss to the Ottawa Senators.

Tkachuk's first point of the night came as a primary assist on a goal scored by Mark Giordano early in the second. Later in the third, Tkachuk notched another assist on a power play goal scored by Johnny Gaudreau. Tkachuk also posted an impressive 8:52 of power play ice time during this game as well. After this matchup, Tkachuk brings his assist total up to 14. That combined with his seven goals puts him at 21 points on the year. Tkachuk has five points in his last two games against the Ottawa Senators.

Miro Heiskanen picked up a pair of assists in Sunday's 4-3 home shootout loss against the Nashville Predators.

Heiskanen also contributed to the fantasy bottom line with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal, a blocked shot and a hit in his 32:30 of ice time across 30 shifts. The 21-year-old rearguard from Espoo, FIN is starting to awaken from his slumber, posting two goals, four points and a plus-2 rating during his season-high three-game point streak. He'll look to keep it going in a positive direction Tuesday against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks.

Jason Robertson registered a goal and an assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout loss against the Nashville Predators.

Robertson also ended up with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal and a hit in his 16:15 of ice time across 19 shifts. He has managed a goal and three points across his past three outings, which might be of interest to DFS players searching for a low-cost alternative Tuesday against the Chicago Blackhawks, but fantasy managers in seasonal play can still steer clear of him for now.

Jake Oettinger allowed three goals on just 20 shots in Sunday's 4-3 home shootout loss against the Nashville Predators.

Oettinger was unable to follow up his surprise shutout against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday with another win. The offense almost bailed him out, as he fell behind 3-0 after allowing two first-period goals to Mikael Granlund and Calle Jarnkrok, while Eeli Tolvanen scored on the power play midway through the second. The Stars rattled off three unanswered goals from 12:30 to 19:03 of the third to force overtime, but Oettinger couldn't solve Filip Forsberg or Roman Josi in the shootout.

Eeli Tolvanen posted a power-play goal with an assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win against the Dallas Stars.

Tolvanen ended up with three shots on goal while dishing out two hits in his 15:10 of ice time across 20 shifts, and his helper was the primary assist on Mikael Granlund's power-play marker in the first. He is getting plenty of time on the man advantage, and he picked up two power-play points in this one. The 21-year-old Finn, who was the team's first-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft at 30th overall, has power-play goals in back-to-back games.
