Below is a breakdown of Wednesday's four-game NHL DFS slate followed by example lineups.

Teams to Target

I am looking to the Flyers, Capitals, Flames, and to a lesser extent the Avs on tonight's schedule for teams to target. The Flyers have been scoring 4.4 goals per game on average over the last 2 weeks, and they are facing a Capitals team that has been struggling a bit and in particular, Braden Holtby who has given up at least 3 goals in each of his last 5 starts. Jakub Vorachek has been hot, with 6 points in his last 2 games, so I would look to get either Couturier or Giroux along with him, and Provorov on defense. For Washington, I look to the obvious here in matching Kuznetsov with Ovechkin. They have been the primary point producers in the last week for the Caps, and we should expect that to continue tonight. If you're looking for cheaper exposure to the Caps though, you can always look at Vrana or Oshie. Calgary has been scoring 3.5 goals per night on average over the last 2 weeks and will be facing a Columbus team that is giving up nearly 4 goals a night in that same time span. From a stacking perspective, I'm looking for either Backlund and Tkachuk or Lindholm and Gaudreau. Backlund, in particular, has been playing well as of late with 8 points in his last 5 games. Lastly, the Avalanche have struggled to score recently, yet Vegas has them with the highest implied goals total tonight, with 3.9. MacKinnon has slowed down quite a bit but is still your go-to on this team for scoring, and can be paired with Landeskog, who leads the team in scoring over the last 2 weeks. If you're going to play Colorado tonight I would recommend doing it in GPP, not in cash games.

Value Plays

Jakob Voracek(6000-FD, 4600 DK)  - Voracek's value on DK, puts him as close to a must-play as you're going to find. As previously noted he has 6 points in his last 2 games. he is well worth this price.

Erik Gustafsson(4100 FD, 3900 DK) - It isn't often that you get a PP QB this cheap on a team that converts on the PP 21% of the time, but Gustafsson is that guy tonight. He has points in 2 of his last 4 games. There is a risk with how little he shoots, but at his cost, he offers lots of potential.

Vladislav Namestnikov(4700-FD, 3500 DK) - If you want to get cheap exposure to MacKinnon tonight, Namestnikov is the way to go. He has points in 3 of his last 5 games and could get a big bump up playing with MacKinnon tonight.

Goalies

Francouz will be the top play tonight if he gets the start. He will be chalky, but in a cash game that is just fine. Francouz has been a top if not the top goalie in the NHL over the last few weeks, and he is getting a weak Ducks team tonight. Other options, if you want to go a little cheaper, are David Rittich, and Antti Raanta. Rittich hasn't played great in his last 2 starts, but Columbus has been putting a high volume of shots on net so he has upside playing at home. Raanta, on the other hand, has been spectacular in his last 5 starts, however, he is facing a Canucks team that is scoring nearly 4 goals per game on average in the last weeks. Both goalies as solid options in GPP, and I would lean Raanta over Rittich in a cash game.
