Below is a breakdown of Sunday’s three-game NHL DFS slate followed by example lineups.

Teams to Target

Colorado is probably the most obvious target. What might have been less obvious is that the production hasn’t been coming from MacKinnon and Rantanen. The Kadri, Burakovsky, and Nishushkin combo has been doing the bulk of the scoring for the Avs int he last 2 weeks. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t consider MacKinnon, but you might find more value elsewhere in their lineup. The Rangers are another team to take a look at tonight. Zibanejad’s line has been dynamite recently, with each of them having a point per game or better over the last 5 games. Lastly, I look to the Blackhawks. The Jets are a sub-500 team at home, and the Blackhawks play better on the road so look to Patrick Kane, with Saad or Dach for some potentially lesser owned production.

Value Plays

Erik Gustafsson(4500-FD, 3800 DK)  -Gustafsson continues to be an enigma, however, he does see the bulk of the power play time, and at his current cost, you can afford to roll the dice on that a bit.

Pavel Bunchnevich(4800 FD, 4700 DK) - With points in 3 of his last 5, there is room for upside at this price, however, he only sees 14 minutes some nights so there is a risk here as well.

Valeri Nichushkin(3800-FD, 3900 DK) - Nichushkin has seen his TOI going up in recent games, to go along with 5 points in his last 3 games. On a small slate like this one, he will be hard to keep out of your lineup so you can get some of the higher-priced options in.

Goalies

There are some interesting options in these games, Shesterkin is the top option going against the Kings. He has played well for the Ranger since being called up, and gets a Kings team that struggles to score, but puts volume at the net. Lehner/Crawford are also viable options tonight. The Blackhawks play better on the road, and the Jets struggle at home. Lastly, I think you can look at Hellebuyuk. He played well in his last game and could continue that streak against a Blackhawks team that has struggled to score recently
