Below is a breakdown of Wednesday’s three-game NHL DFS slate followed by example lineups.

Teams to Target

I like Ottawa tonight against Cayden Primeau. They have lots of well-priced players who can help you get in the bigger names from the other games. I think you have to look at the pairing of Tierney and Duclair given their play of the last week, and I think you can pair that with Chabot for a stack. You can use Brady Tkachuk tonight as he has a nice floor with his shot volume. If you're going to pay up for players tonight, I like the Flyers. The Avs give up a lot of shots(33 per night over their last 4 games), so look to get Giroux, Frost, in tonight if you can. Don't forget about their defense either, Provorov and Niskanen are not afraid to shoot and Gostisbehere has started to produce again.

Value Plays

Chris Tierney - While Duclair has been seeing the spotlight, Tierney has quietly been chipping in more than a point per game in the last week. He is 3200 on DK and 3800 on FD, so he can help you get one of the high priced players into your lineup.

Samuel Girard - Girard steps into the top power-play spot with the injury to Makar. There is a lot of opportunities here for a player who is nearly minimum priced.

Matt Niskanen- Priced at just 4000 on DK and 4100 on FD, Niskanen's shots give him a nice floor to ensure you don't take a 0. He also gets PP2 time, so there is upside there as well.

Goalies

There isn't much safety on tonight's slate of games. I like Carter Hart in both cash games and GPP. The Flyers don't give up a lot of shots, and while he hasn't been playing as much lately, when he has he has been good. Nilsson is also viable in GPP as well. He is well priced and has a 0.927 save percentage in his last 2 games, including a 38 save night against the Bruins. I think you can also look at Holtby if you are looking to spend on goalie in cash games. This is a winnable game for the Caps, and the Bruins average nearly 34 shots per game, so there is enough volume there to make him worthwhile.
