MVP/CPT

Alex Pietrangelo , D VGK

Pietrangelo has the highest upside in this game. There isn’t any other player who can hit the shots, blocks, and points bonus in this game.

Max Pacioretty, F VGK

Pacioretty has played at over a point per game in these playoffs. He will be your best bet to score goals and hit the shot bonus.

Carey Price, G MTL

Vegas is likely to try and put as many shots on Price as possible. If Price is on his game he has a good chance of giving you a good score, even if the Canadiens don’t get the win.

Tyler Toffoli, F MTL

Toffoli has been the most dangerous Montréal player throughout the playoffs. He is capable of hitting the shot bonus as well even if he doesn’t register a point.

Mid-Tier

Alec Martinez, D VGK

There is an argument to be made that Martinez is worthy of the captain spot because of his blocks alone. If this ends up being a very low scoring game, that would be the primary case as there could be only one or two goal scorers. He should be in every lineup because his value is simply unmatched because those blocks make his floor so high.

Reilly Smith, F VGK

The Smith-Karlsson-Marchessault line has been Vegas’ best line in these playoffs. He only averages half a point per game, but if you’re going to stack Smith with Marchessault it would make sense.

Shea Theodore, D VGK

It’s hard to believe that Theodore is yet to score a goal in these playoffs. His price is going down, but I think this is a price opportunity for Theodore as the Canadiens have not seen a defenseman close to Theodore’s offensive ability in these playoffs, so he could have a big game if Montréal struggles to adjust to his speed.

Nick Suzuki, F MTL

Suzuki has a similar potential for point outcome as his linemake Toffoli, however his shot volume typically isn’t as high which lowers his floor and ceiling.

Value Tier

Eric Staal F MTL

Staal comes into tonight's game with five points in his last five games. This pace likely isn’t sustainable, but at his price it is worth finding out if it is.

Corey Perry F MTL

Perry has seemingly found the fountain of youth alongside Staal. Perry seems to have found a niche in these playoffs for being in the right place at the right time. He won't offer you much in the form of peripherals, but that is also why his cost is so low, as he is very point dependent.

Zach Whitecloud, D VGK

Whitecloud comes into tonight averaging nearly 2 blocks per game. If he can get three and hit the bonus then he will exceed his value.
